Hey friends, hope you’re all having a lovely July, can’t believe 2023 is halfway done. How does time fly so fast I’ll never understand. Today’s case is a strange and sad case. Larry Gene Bell was a twisted man. Not only was he abducting and murdering his victims, he would then move onto his victims families and take pleasure in taunting them. Hi Zara! Per my Anesthesiologist husband, dying by lethal injection is painless. Completely. Dying by electrocution is very painful from what I learned by watching a documentary on a man who was sentenced to death by electrocution and he did not die. He said he felt every single second of the shock. My belief for horrible people like the one here, is death should be slow and as painful as possible. It might deter these evil people from committing such atrocities if their punishment was having to meet death the same way their victims did. Just a thought…

If you are a US citizen- we are supposed to be protected from cruel and unusual punishment. And punishment does little to to deter killers.

I am from South Carolina, so to kind of answer your question about them living in a rich area because their driveway was so long- they might have, Lexington is a bigger area with smaller communities in it so I'm not completely sure but in the Southern US as a whole, a lot of people live on big pieces of land that is either family land that is passed through generations or farmland. So I wouldn't say that just because someone has a longer driveway or lives on a big property does not necessarily mean they are wealthy in comparison to others. Again, they could have been wealthy but just a thought from someone who is from the area. Love your videos!

Hey Zara-love your channel. Can you do the Cal City Boys? A three and four year old set of brothers adopted out of foster care and then killed by foster parents. They’ve never been found. Parents convicted. Shocking, sad story.

Oh my goodness!! Thank you so much for covering this case, I live in the same city as this case takes place and there is just not enough covered for Sheri and Debbi. To answer your question about Lexington though, for the most part Lexington is a very wealthy place to live in. The taxes and everything in Lexington are quite higher than the surrounding counties. You should look up “PeeWee” Gaskins as well from SC.

I was a kid (12-13) when this happened & I think it terrified the whole country! I wasn't really up on current events at that age but I remember hearing about it. I've never seen a true crime video about it. But I DO remember a movie. It was made for TV, maybe ABC, CBS, NBC...(?)

I don’t believe at all that he gave her the three options choices to be killed because anyone would pick drug overdose because it’s probably the easiest. As far as I know, in lethal injection the first shot is to sort of paralyze and relax you before the other shots hit your bloodstream. Somebody correct me if thats wrong.

Our senior class always take a vacation together with chaperones. We live in a very small town. The kids have different fundraisers to help pay for it. Lately they have been going on a cruise to the Bahamas. My Son and his class didn't get to go. Everything was already shut down in 2020.

Yes it was made into a movie I had just moved to Lexington South Carolina when this happened it was a nightmare for the community and then when he kidnapped the little girl in broad daylight right in front of her grandma it took the fear to a whole new level and when her body was found it was devastating

@@MichaelanRyan yep. Look up Waupun infamous inmates on yt and u can see. Ed gein was even an inmate there. A presidential attempted assassin too. But yep,I'm in a small place called Markesan,and Waupun is less than 30 mins away. I even drove by and took pics a few weeks ago. There are 2 prisons there,a few blocks away from each other,in the middle of a neighborhood.its crazy.
