Hi guys, today’s case is a little different. Susan Still was a mother and wife living a life in hell with her husband Ulner. She believes it’s important to raise awareness about not only what she went through, but what lots of women and men face daily. Susan Still is a survivor. Let me know your thoughts below guys.
Thanks for watching ❤️

Having spent some of my childhood witnessing abuse, it hurt me so much to find a full photo album of my mom's old pictures and a super emotional letter from her, when I was seven or eight, so that I wouldn't forget her in case my dad went to far one day. It breaks my heart to know that she went through that. By the grace of God, my mommy is still here because it really could've been much worse ❤️

I grew up like that. Shame on the daughter. Me as a 4 year old tried to help my momma. At 13 I could throw some punches and grab every knife in the house. The shit stopped when I got old enough to pop a round off. I put a 22 round into my ex gut. It ended that night, he was life flighted. He came back around 2 years later surprised I had married and had a baby. I teach my son by example how to treat his wife. He has never seen his dad and I ever raise a hand to each other, never hears us call names.

I tried to pull my moms boyfriend off of her at 17. I blacked out as soon as i grabbed him and my whole body went limp. My mom says he then held me down by my neck. Next thing i know i was on the phone with police. My mom still didn’t leave for a few years after that, but i had to leave. Not every child is capable of stopping it. I certainly wasn’t. While i understand where you are coming from and I’m sorry for what you have been through, but definitely not all of us are capable of that. And it was never our job to do that in the first place. Calling police is an option but like in my case, it did nothing. He was ex navy and they barely believed that he had held my by my neck and didn’t believe i blacked out. No calls to cps, no jail. That asshole still gets visitation with my little sister. Luckily she is starting to realize how terrifying he is and refuses to see him sometimes. But she had to live through traumatic fights with his new wife. All because my police call did nothing.

Shame on the daughter?how dare you,the daughter and all the children were absolute victims. That adult woman was childless and finantially independent and she still did nt report the abuser to the police. She allowed the children to grow up in such violent environment and did nt protect them...and yet weirdos have the audacity to hold children more acountable than an adult woman?

That’s HORRIFYING! I’m so sorry it took that for your mom to leave, but the control abusers can have on their victim often takes something really extreme to give theme they strength to leave. Your mom sounds like a really strong woman and a loving mom. I pray that y’all found happiness once you got away from the abuse. God Bless you all.

Lynn is a freaking superhero. When so many people choose the bystander effect, she chose to do something that would keep herself safe while helping someone in need. She didn't have to go put herself in danger to help. As someone who went through a domestic violence situation it's people like that that make it possible to go on. Guys, if you're in a DV situation, DOCUMENT DOCUMENT DOCUMENT! Take pictures write things down let your family and loved ones know what's going on. It's so important especially when dealing with a manipulative abuser. So glad this story ended with Susan being safe and rebuilding her life because so many times it doesn't go that way. Great video thank you!! I found you recently and have pretty much watched all your videos already 😘💙

This breaks my heart….just so sad. I’m a survivor of DV. I can’t imagine having my children being apart of it or one of them taking his side. I understand they did what they had to to survive, but the daughter sticking up for him at the trial would of crushed me as a momma. Sending her and her children so much love💛

I’m also a survivor. I left once he beat me in front of the kids. It was so scary for them. I made the decision and left with nothing but my babies and a few toys. I’m so happy she left!!! Hallelujah! I pray those boys don’t grow up to repeat that generational curse. I don’t have faith in the daughter. So sad.

This hit home… I remember growing up my father would abuse my mom and in turn she would take out her anger on me due the frustration she had from my father and I remember seeing my father dragging my mom across the floor and I remember feeling ‘happy’ which I feel guilty for till this day…honestly wish for no child to grow up in such an environment

Clearly you don't intend malice if you're expressing remorse. Your family wasn't a solid unit, instead you were taught anger and retaliation. You were powerless and got a form of justice, what you said makes sense. You were a child; you learned what you were taught. If there's remorse to be had, it should be by your parents, not you. You were a victim and you were failed, not the other way around. Sending love ❤

The sole responsability lays in the adults...specially the grown women who expose children to violence, when a child s mind is too inicent and fragile to even proces it. Adult women who have no excuse to not report it to the police.

When you told this story it really broke my heart. I feel so bad for her and what she had to endure as well as her children. And the the most hurtful was him getting their own children to go against her. Which they cannot be blamed they were more than likely scared of him and they were also young. I'm glad she had her boss backing her up and essentially getting her and her children out of there. No woman deserves that kind of treatment. But unfortunately it still happens😞 and I have no words for that evil man because they won't be nice. Thank you for this video. Also I have a case suggestion. It's about two serial killers from Chicago Illinois. They were called the south side slayers. Two woman cousins. Caroline Peoples and Angela Wright. They were the first woman "serial killers" from Chicago. And it's scary because im from the same city. Have a wonderful and blessed week🤗💕

Oh that hit me so hard you saying that you only remember the good and sit there trying to fix yourself to get back to that. It’s very true :/ you never think of the bad you have so much loyalty to this person you fell in love with because they were so amazing that you become willing to go through the bad praying it will get back to the good :( unfortunately it never does though. I just got out of an abusive relationship and I actually started to get back into it recently and hearing that just reminded me not to and it will never change. We have kids though so it’s hard :/

Oh yeah, and can you please please please do the Trevor Summers case. It's about domestic violence also and no one dies but his abuse victim , which was his ex wife whose now in a healthy marriage now, I look up to her so much and I think you will too after you see what a fabulous spitfire she is! Honey, she didn't hold anything back! He defended himself in this case and when he was questioning her, she was so fierce when he was asking the questions! And my mother knew about those things but still decided that it would just be better with him. Still to this day is with him. But my mother used the excuse of trying to get stuff out of the closet and stuff fell on her face and gave her a black eye. THESE MEN ARE HORRIBLE.

My very first relationship was when I was 17, a month into it he turned on me. We were together for 6 months total. He would always want to know where I was, in the beginning when I questioned why, he said he “needed to know I was safe” and if he knew my whereabouts, in the event something happened to me, he’d know where to come find me. As a now 27 year old woman, I know that was BS. He was just checking up on me and controlling me. I’m currently married to a wonderful man, but 10 years after that abusive relationship ended. I’m still telling my husband where I’m going and updating him on my movements. It’s a bad habit for me. As this happened when I was 17 and was my first relationship, it messed up what I thought was acceptable in a relationship. The physical marks from him healed, but the emotional & psychological ones are still there.

I was in an abusive relationship and luckily I got out when I did realizing that it was just an toxic situation that I was in. A lot of people feel like that! I know that I did. I thought because he was emotionally and mentally ill to me that he loved me and only wanted the best!!! I know how she feels but man oh man I don't understand why and how people could feel and do these things!!!! Domestic violence is nothing to play around with!!! Ughhh heartbreaking!!!💔💔💔💔

This comment section is soooo upsetting. The amount of ppl on here who have been through this is disgusting! Something needs to change!! This many women and men should not be going through this! It's almost as upsetting as finding out how many ppl have been SAed in childhood or/and adulthood. I almost feel like it's more common than it not happening sometimes. The fact that there is this many violent and predatory ppl out there breaks my heart. It's a learned behavior alot of the time but breaking the cycle is sooooo important. Just know that you all are so strong for not continuing the cycle and living through this as kind, loving and supportive people.

When I was 16 I started dating a boy and I never realized how abusive he was and how bad it could’ve gotten till I listened to this video. I knew he was bad I just didn’t realize he was that bad. He called me a slut amongst many other names, I wasnt allowed to wear makeup unless I was with him, I couldn’t have friends, I couldn’t work in group projects with people at school, the list goes on, the worst point was when he put me in a chokehold and held me off the ground till I started to black out. I also had to do the whole texting when I left home, when I got to school, when I got to first period, when I left first period, etc. I stayed with him because I thought he would hurt me or worse. Towards the end of our relationship he started slashing the tires on my car, one every week for three weeks, I don’t really remember why I broke up with him but I finally did and he threatened to commit suicide and sent pictures of him self harming, he showed up a couple times but eventually he just stopped. Hell still call me from time to time from a new number I haven’t blocked and I actually talked to him once and he said he didn’t remember doing half the things I just listed but if i think that’s what happened he’s sorry. It’s crazy that at 16 years old I was dealing with that. I hope our younger generation of women hear stories like this and hear the warning signs and leave at the first red flag. Abuse is not love.

Children literally become inocent hostages of two wacked up adults. Children did nt ask to be born. Those children were brought into that violent home and forced to live in such hell,by an adult bread winner and fully capable woman. She kept them in that hell and refused to call the police. Is disgusting that some weirdos dare holding the children acountable, the term"women are giving less acountability than children"is real. Children cant even process violence and the trauma it caused them is irreversible in many cases. The adult woman was fully capable but refused to call the cops or leave, with the terrible consecuences it takes on children.

I was with a guy like this. My two sons are his stepsons. My oldest son- calls me a fucking whore. So I was in abusive marriage 22 years, now out since 2006. And my biological sons are still alienated from me from their stepfather's brainwashing. It's domestic violence by proxy. I was almost dead, literally, by the time I got out. I left with only one person believing I had been in abusive relationship. His first wife made it five years. Thank g-d for gef or I'd have thought the problems we're my fault.oh, and local pigs were totally brainwashed by my ex as well. The literally laughed at me when I reported being raped by my then husband, and refused to arrest him. And in face threatened to arrest me every time I called for help. I actually spent one Thanksgiving day in a jail holding cell because they didn't believe I was abused. Of course they couldn't arrest me because I had done nothing wrong - I'd only called them for help . But they held me all day, laughing at me when I told them I was afraid of my "husband".

I'm so sorry that you went through that... It amazes me how horribly so many people treat victims of domestic abuse. How they side with the abuser. It's just cruel. But I'm glad that you're away from him now and I hope your sons wake up to the truth one day.

Yeah I don't blame the kids. That's a tough situation for a child, you don't want the anger turned on to you so you agree with the abuser.

I agree. I don't blame them at all. Although I feel I would be different, someone very close to me went through something similar and he said he was just frozen and scared to do anything and felt helpless but to watch. It's soooo heartbreaking and no child deserves that trauma.💔

My ex was a real piece of trash, he would send me to the shops for his smokes and time me. If I didnt call within the 16 mins to tell him I arrived he would loose it. I once didnt tell him I had left the shops to walk back and he beat me so bad I ended up in hospital. I was hospitalized so much but always went back. I felt I was the problem. He would break my insulin when he was mad and wait until I was almost comatose before throwing the phone at me. 😴 He assulted me in the hospital bathroom one time.. It was so scary, I only got out because he found someone else and even then I felt I wasn't good enough. Its insane the mind set they can put you in.. Anyway thats my over share. I will listen to the rest now. ❤

I feel the kids were afraid, and the daughter may have been so brain washed so she didn't want to step on his toes. And yes I'm sure he would have convinced those children that the mother was the problem when she's the one working and taking care of the home, they don't see it like that, they see it as here we go she comes home and dad gets angry.

I don’t believe physical abuse is the most common. I believe emotional abuse is the most common but many people never realize it’s emotional abuse. They either think it’s normal if they deal with it over and over again or for a long time, or they look back and think it was just a really toxic relationship or that they just had a crazy ex. So many people still pretty much think it wasn’t abuse unless they hit you. Everyone has friends who have stories of a crazy boyfriend or girlfriend, and many people have stories themselves. Guys who go through your phone and block people they don’t want you to talk to, get angry when you don’t answer them fast enough, even when you’re busy, and the “fast enough” is never a very long amount of time. People who make you change up your appearance, or don’t want you to do any hobby they can’t also participate in. People who shit talk your friends and family, or say a perfectly wonderful person gives them “bad vibes.” People who incite arguements between you and other people while they themselves act all buddy buddy with the other person. A really possessive boyfriend. A girlfriend who accuses you of wanting to hit her during a fight about her abusive behavior, even though you were across the room. So many things people will brush off, or refer to as “crazy” or “toxic.” Like, yeah, it IS crazy and toxic. Because it’s straight up abusive. Everyone is an asshole sometimes, but if they’re doing enough for you to call them toxic or crazy (actually crazy, not a fuckboi referring to girls he hurt as “crazy” and stuff like that) then they’re usually abusive!!! Keep an eye out for your friends in weird relationships and make sure you yourself don’t settle for emotional abuse- we all deserve better.

As someone who grew up in a House of domestic violence, I cannot imagine taking my dad's side ever. You know, like, yeah, I was scared, but I would always call the police and, you know, make sure that they came to keep my mom safe, because she would. Take the beating. Like if my dad wanted to give me a whooping or my brother a whooping, she wouldn't allow that and she would have him beat her for us, basically. I guess, like she would take the whooping for us. I just remember one time my brother and I left toothpaste in the sink. And so she said that she left it in the sink, she forgot to rinse it out, and it was this whole thing. When I was 7/8 I begged her to get a divorce. Best decision ever!!!! I did a video on it but it wasn't even half of the things. And the sad part is, when you grow up in a house full of abuse, it leaves you to either become an abuser or to get in a relationship with an abuser. Which I ended up doing and was in that terrible abusive situation 6yrs. But I felt like just because he wasn't beating me like my dad beat my mom, that it wasn't an abusive relationship. But that was not further from the truth.
