Tom doesn’t have haters, he has obsessed fans and every now and them, he has to set them straight. Will they ever learn? I hope not, they are the force behind songs like this. I love it. Says people are living cheque to cheque....most humans are, whether you're rich or poor you're still living money source to money source, whether you're doing a job that pays you a few thousand or a job that pays you 100K it's the exact same. Tom is also living cheque to cheque, it's just that it's him living from song to song. The actual energy and path is the same as everyone, doing a job to keep the money flow coming. Also the more money you make, the more expensive things you waste money on, bigger house or multiple houses, buying multiple cars or more expensive ones, so in actuality you could be making 30 million and you're still living the exact same as a man making 30K a year, it's just scaled to a greater degree but still the same thing.

it's interesting how Tom uses the fact his songs are on the radio as a flex...if this was 40 years ago to say 15 years ago or so, that would be a good thing, but in todays day and age, it's a minority of people who listen to the radio these days, compared to online on RU-vid or such. So in todays world being on the radio is a worse option.
