Hidden in plain sight, spirits known as youkai inhabit the world. While most are benign, a certain subset threatens the tenuous peace between youkai and humanity. Anime Name: In/Spectre Summary
@@mitsu6452 "1. Tanuki Are Not Related to Raccoons. Despite their masked appearance, tanuki are not close relatives of the common raccoon, the famous species native to the United States. Tanuki belong to the Canidae family, alongside wolves and foxes."
@@giyuu6095 in/spectre i believe it was even a CR original . its a fun watch , nothing crazy but kotoko is amazing . deff not your average anime girl and i love that :). enjoy . if u ever watch it come back an tell us how you liked it :).
Me after reading the title: Me: *runs to fridge* Me: *grabs the salmon* Me: *eats salmon* Me: yes i am the salmon lord. *fear me* Breaking news! Timothy, the great salmon lord has died of old age. May he rest in piece… or pieces 👀
So, the steel lady is basically like SCP-001(there are many 001's), the scarlet king. The more the people believe in him, the more real and powerful he gets. Damn, that sends a shiver down my spine.
I'll be honest, calling kuro the main protag was just wrong lol, the main protag is kotoko, he is def the supporting main throughout season 1, no doubt, but damn was she sooooo much more important. I haven't seen season 2 if there's any so maybe he is more important there.
@@NoNo-lt9bi is it good? Like on a scale of 1 to 10. And if you were to compare it to any anime (regardless of genre) in terms of entertainment value, what would you compare it to? Can be one or more
@@ogasama6028 It gets really boring really fast, I would give it a chance but its extremely drawn out. Maybe a 4, mainly because the concept is fun but the story is meh.
@@ogasama6028 probably like an 8/8.5 the whole anime is focused on 1 enemy essentially so the 12 episodes feel a lot shorter because the story doesn’t travel that much nor have a satisfying end because it doesn’t really end has a cliff hanger which we ain’t got an answer to yet
This is good. Like an audiobook with pictures. Nice nice. We need more. Especially with animes no one has watched before. And hopefully mangas. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Just got a new subscriber
9:21 that spirit is called a gashadokuro they are massive spirits that come out at night and eat humans, suprisingly it is rare to spot one of them, as they are masters at hiding, and they are often found near places where lots of people have died without a proper funeral such as places where wars occured
11:34 "Becuase she was created by the imaginations of humans who idolized her. These people gave her an appearance and aname, so it became real." Does that mean the Backrooms could be real?
@@shironeko5183 Yeah, dumbass me reading the title wrong, I assumed the "other meat" in the video was dragon meat, then I realised I read the title wrong and it actually says "demon".
The part where they change the ghost idol is kinda like in Re:Creators where they increase the powers of the fictional characters by having the public believe they have new abilities.
in/spectre was the first anime i took a chance on and watched without any recommendations. It genuinely was a good anime, and I had hoped for more content but was unable to find any :(
This show had sooo much potential, but the excessive amount of narration killed it for me. I like occasional explanations but this anime has too massive amount of explanation, like moving 1 arm then proceeding to give an explanation for 5 mins. But still, the story itself is great, the overall idea is great and has so much potential.
@@thekidunest7425 i want to know too. the manga is terribly hard to read as it has literally wall of texts, that explain same thing again and again, so i will prefer to see the anime as they tend to only show the condensed story.
i dropped this show about 7 episodes in because life got busy, but i still bump the intro song now and then. Insane opening, and the visuals were crazy too. Wish the show was as fast paced and groovy as the opening.
I’m mad at myself for sitting through this. At the 3min mark I realized how much I would have loved watching this show myself; and that it’s not too late to stop now… But I kept going.
Ya know what... i watched this anime and i got roughly the same summary out of the story... however you cleared up a few things that i didnt catch onto that just cleared up my confusion real nicely! I love anime cliff notes!!!
@@hellfirehatter5243 Well their english name is "Japanese racoon dog". And their name comes from their resemblance of racoons. So if not "racoon dog" racoon for short would do better than fox. Otherwise you are right genetically they are indeed closer to canids and even more so to vulpines. PS: Its "your" not "you're". While we are at correcting stuff.
@@martinbudinsky8912 They are more closely related to foxes so calling them raccon for short is actually just stupid. Idk where you got that idiotic idea from tbh. Besides, nobody calls them raccoon for short when they have an actual name: Tanuki, but calling them a fox would be closer than calling them a raccoon. Regardless of what they look like.
@@hellfirehatter5243 " Idk where you got that idiotic idea from tbh." What you dont seem to understand is that its not about who they are related to more genetically but what is their ENGLISH NAME. And I have already told you that they are called "Japanese racoon dog" in english. Now take a guess. Why from LINGUISTIC standpoint it makes more sense to call them racoons (for short). I am gonna answer that rhetoric question for you because you dont seem to be getting it. The answer is because its part of their english name. Thats how linguistics work. So for linguistics and translation its completely irellevant what they are more genetically close to. Only thing that matters is their english name (which due to their likeness has word racoon in it). So if the aurthor decides to call them anything else (translate) than their original name (tanuki) it has to be related to their english name. So for the third time in this comment. In translation like this genetics do NOT matter. Even if you find it strange or disagree with it. Thats how it is. EDIT: For example of other instances of this happening. What do you call Federal Republic of Germany? Germany of course. Same goes for Russia and so on. The history, names of different parts of Germany, ethnic groups and so on do not matter. Just like genetics do not matter in this case.
@@martinbudinsky8912 You’re is a contraction of the phrase you are, Your is a possessive adjective used to show ownership. So he used you're correctly as he was saying you are nitpicking.
if memory serves he was tricked into eating it by his granny, as for being a demon lord, Nah he cant even do basic fire magic. Season 2 on its way so happy days.
@Ivan the werewolf yea im kinda getting used to it now, so heres some more anime with new seasons coming: the saga of Tanya the evil Season 2 Classroom Of The Elite Season 2 Overlord season 4 Vinland Saga Season 2 The Faraway Paladin Season 2 Demon Slayer Season 3 Goblin Slayer Season 2 Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy Season 2 Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles season 2 Bear in mind that although officially annouced the actual release dates can move drastically
well, he doesn't eat a demon, not exactly. His grandma made him eat it and hes definitely not a demon lord. Not even that powerful just is immortal and can sort of kind of predict the futire
It actually reminds me of one of the main reasons Witchers are shunned and feared. Common folk ask themselves what Witchers must be to be the apex predators of monsters. This seems like a similar situation.
Witcher makes zero sense when you think about it like that. Everyone wants to fight and kill a witcher because they hate them and don't understand them right? But the witchers fight and kill the monsters humans stand no chance against. Humans are scared of monsters, intelligent sapient monsters, ones with sentience, are afraid of witchers, why the heck are humans or elves trying to fight a witcher instead of just run? lol
@@darschpugs4690 because humans are notorious for confronting things stronger than themselves in an effort for fame and glory. ie: dragons and such. Also humans are relatively dumb when it comes to matching strength.
@@koldheartedbam1064 do you mean Your Conscience? because Conscience is an inner feeling or voice viewed as acting as a guide to the rightness or wrongness of one's behavior, where as consciousness is the state of being awake, both of which make no sense as a reply to my comment.
I did like this anime, it’s dark, and odd, but the story had some interesting ideas and twists. I disliked the cop ex though, I get why they added her to the story to show how separate the worlds were, but I wish they could do something like that without always showing the worst in humanity, the petty, small minded, fearing anything different, bigoted people that still exist, proving that as a species, we haven’t really evolved at all. It’s very true, but you see it everyday, it’s nice to get away from it by watching entertainment that doesn’t show how awful we are
Trust me manga is better then anime decided to stretch out an arc that could’ve been like 4 or 5 episodes into 9 and it was annoying, if you are still interested in the series watch season two or read the manga
OK this is amazing, really. as for feedback, (from a viewer so take it as you will. I understand) could you pause for 3 or 2 seconds when ever you move on to the next scene. because back-to-back is making you word vomit which could make it hard to follow. (what you say is straight to the point but all at once without any breaks)
it was such a good concept for a show then they spent half the season on a really drawn out boring case, what a missed chance to have every episode be a different case
at first i expected something like a supernatural seinen-battle anime, but it's more like a detective story, a more gore-y Natsume... it's very good tho
