Interesting that they use up all their inventory slots for teleports, you'd think teleport to war's then just bank preset would be faster. Could allow them to get more kc at dagannoth kings and rex matriarchs with switches instead
This was a fantastic and creative idea! Don't pay attention to the Debbie downers. The way you set up the rules evoked the highest amount of creativity from the participants. Earned a sub from me with this one!
You really should link the runners POVs and credit their platforms or RU-vid channels to actually make it a community thing, especially with how nonexistent the RS3 content scene is lately it'd be nice to see collaboration from people like you. SirPugger, who you're inspired by, credits his winners and participants channels for example. Good video otherwise.
My only problem with this is the lack of restrictions to make it more accessible to more of your viewer base. Basically if you didn't have 10-20b worth of upgrades and equipment you weren't even gonna be able to attempt this in any way. Also, the killing just after an aura starts is just dumb. Enjoyable idea tho
Im not sure if you are exaggerating, but both of these set ups were under 10b. The first one was under 4b, the second was around 7b. They cold make it more accessible by making it, how many bosses can you kill in an hour with t90 gear and t95 prayer, but that doesn't really have the same ring to it. In addition if the goal is raising a kc, its interesting to see how that concept gets optimized with starting point, route, setting up fights for the route. Both these runners put alot of thought and planning into this and it was great to see their creativity. It sounds like the next challenge people will need to make completely new accounts, and be ironmen, so everyone will be on an equal playing field
this is why i ensured there were participation prizes. 112m for an hour of having fun is a pretty sweet deal for a lot of the participants. + There will be future challenges with different playstyles/restrictions that might appeal to other players
the problem with the next challenge is that you have to pay 80m to play, and have pay again if you mess up something, and most likely get nothing back. its a nice idea, but perhaps make it f2p only?
There will be prizes for best p2p and f2p runs. I have not landed on exact splits, but with a prize pool that is already at 2B, there will be plenty reward to go around : )
TBH activating your aura once the boss is about to die should not have counted that kill as you already did a vast majority of the kill without the aura and outside the the allotted time for the challenge. its like if your running a marathon but the timer didn't start until you were already most of the way done with the race.
Its more like finishing 10 races in a day and getting all the medals. This challenge was about getting the kc (medals) within the timeframe. I'm all for creative out of the box thinking. Especially because it made the starting boss a more interesting and varied choice for runnners
Man you have regular runescape players and then you have some legit runescape players. I would never be that prepared let alone know every boss location and weaknesses
@@Saltea_RS yea i'm afraid i don't know every player in this game or their pasts :/ If that's true that's very unfortunate, but I think it should be up to jagex to enforce the rules of the game. It's a bit out of the scope of me trying to set up a challenge anyone can compete in. nor do i feel i should be able to exclude anyone for actions/beliefs outside of the competition. All I can do is put up a fun event, and enforce the rules of the challenge i set. but i'm open to suggestions
