Wouldn't a counter point would be that while yes you can reset the aura 3 times a day and you're able to get that great exp, you're not really profiting? lemme explain The legendary Auras will allow you to have a 15% chance of whatever you're doing, and is able to be extended by vis wax, but lets get that out of the way. With a 15% chance of gathering along with the elite +7% chance with the skilling outfit, along with (this is because I am currently fishing) a crystal rod with a +5% along with honed 5 which gives an additional 2% per level, you're looking at an additional 29%? if its additive, please correct me if I am wrong on that. So while you ARE losing out on massive amount of exp if say going for 120 or 99s, and its a great way to level up other lower level skills like Herbivore, agility, or thieving, but I think that's about thing that's missing. Not to mention that sure you can reset Trades 3 times a day like you mentioned, but all the other have 3 hour cool-down, and allow you to extend it with the vis wax. Not saying that Jack of Trades is bad, but I am also looking at it from another point of view in which if a player likes to do gathering, which is admittedly pretty low, and decided to fish blue blubbers, in an hour with all the said buff, you're looking at 200-300 and at 11k that's still a hefty 2-3m/hr. At least that's my two cents for whatever its worth. Great video none the less! Keep up the work
Meh, another daily. I 100% stopped using jot after unlocking priff. I like having one less thing on my daily checklist more than the xp books. I find 5 fingers and the farming one less annoying to use, (and pretty much mandatory for their respective activities) Then again, I don't care about xp post 99 ( 120 for the relevant skills). With all that said, good video :)
Goated Aura! Other great suggestions for those looking for the T4 Aura / 25 skills or not wanting to utilise as many urns - Clockwork suit (the penguin) can wind+release for Agility xp - Headless arrows for Fletching if you don't want to use ascension shards - Can kill npcs with magic and ranged for additional combat xp - Superheat form woodcutting a tree for WC+FM xp - Teleporting to your POH to craft a chair in your living room (Magic + Con xp) - Smelting urn for Smithing - Summon a familiar with a pouch (yaks are good) for Summoning xp
run through a shifting tomb straight to the exit for instant 9 skill complete ( one urn and one ore need to be mined on the way to the exit, usually there one or two chests on the way making it 11 skills in 30-50 seconds
@@sebastiansosnowski3859 with proper planning you can do 25 skills in under a minute - shifting tombs doesn't sound great for this kind of thing at all
The easiest by far method for 25 skill jot runs for me was to enter shifting tomb and run to the exit, mine one corrupted ore and open chests you see on the way to exit, It gives 10-12 skills completed in like 30-50 seconds, then tele to burthorpe, wear sunspear, kill rabbits on the way to hunter location with all combat styles, catch one bird, catch one shrimp, cut one log, cook the shrimp, create a summoning pouch with bird meat. cut a gem, clean a herb and u should be done with the run, you can immediately restart it by banking in burthorpe, doing the same run again and teleporting back to menaphos to finish with the shifting tombs. If u want to do the third run, you can start with a shifting tomb again and finish in burthorpe. whole run of 3 JOT takes like 5-7 min at most
Better than most 25 runs i've seen for sure, I personally just try to minimise the amount of time spent on dailies as much as possible and 20 is my sweet spot for xp/time spent
@@IronAraxxor You can do less skills if you go for 20, then it's just combat + shifting tomb and maybe cutting a gem. it's very quick with essentially no prep ( don't need urns and inventory can be very minimal with just a tele to shifting tomb, sunspear. keep a grimy herb and a gem if the shifting tomb has no chests on the way :D
over edited imo. went to his corp beast guide and i couldnt just find him standing there with the bar + inventory/gear in 1 place. you have to look through a whole video. used a different guide.
I have a love or hate for this aura. The daily grind sometimes gets to me. And since I use this aura(25 skill) 3 times a day (premiere reset token and vis wax), even when I can complete it with my eyes closed, it still takes me around 8-9 minutes a day to do so. and sometimes I just don't have the time with my other duties. So yeah, it was a nice and ironman friendly way to train some skills to 99. I might look into this "new" way of doing my run. compared to yours, my way is waaaay to slow, lol..
