@@hakjie1112 you can tell how genuine he is hopefully i can make a trip down there but im in PA so its a 9 hour drive hopefully when i decide to go im hoping he is there love watching him love this whole channel im back into completing all my childhood motu figures its been great hunting and seeing all the other toys i did have as a kid but motu was my everything back then had alot of the other stuff but hands down motu was my favorite wild thing i watched every episode the day they came out besides one and still remeber to this day coming home from school turning it on and i fell asleep and missed it im 46 and remember missing a episode when i was maybe 6 or 7 years old
Woah! Can't believe that guy just cleaned out the top two MotU shelves! That's crazy!!! Congratulations, guys. We've seen you make some trades and buy some large lots. Nice to see a big sale!
@@toyfederation Ha! That's exactly what I told my wife. "That shelf is already replenished" Can't wait to stop in next. Hopefully what I have my eye on next is still there! Have a great weekend.
This channel definitely has the feeling that once you hit 200 episodes or what not, I could easily see this on the history channel. Something nerdy will pick this up for sure.
Man I am so glad I bought Castle Grayskull 99% complete from the US with box shipped to Australia about 15 years ago for $100 before import taxes killed the all that (I got the little gun later for a good price elsewhere years later and now 100% complete) I mean I could never afford these loose prices now.
Great video! :) I really hope we get to see some of the displays this guy will make, as it could be epic! I just can't but wonder about how smart it is to base your business on (basically) knocking off the vintage figures made by a company that technically still sells them today, even if this is not something that will be mass produced...
my mind is blown how this channel has less than 19k subs. Reminds me of comic book men but less staged. Love it. Hope you nothing but the best the content is top notch.
I was thinking those vintage figures would cost much much more.....thousands and thousands.... Dude has a cool vision and idea ..... Looking forward to seeing the larger scaled figures ... Rad man.....
Whenever there is a toy haul or hunt video about Heman figures, it seems that Pixel Dan's name is always brought up! Goes to say the guy is almost MOTU default and can't never be separated from this franchise. Oh by the way, that's really a big MOTU haul that this guy's getting. But he has a mission or a purpose with this pick-up. Wish him all the best in his endeavor
I wish I would have done the GI Joe Mail Aways 😂. My favorite memory as a kid was going every week or two to see what new things the store had in. We had no internet…so the thrill of the hunt was totally on!
Great sale brother!! Like to see people coming in and purchasing!! So many stores go under!! But when you have as much stuff as you do.... you're able to have something for anybody!! Maybe sometime do a video of stuff you have from the 70s.... perk the ears of us older people!! Again another great video good job brother... keep it up!! 🤟✌️
lol I truly wish I had the ability to walk in and go "Hey - see that case? I need it. The whole thing." Instead I walk in and think, "How long can I go without eating to justify that one item?" :)
My first job ever was in 85,86 working for toys r us.I remember working the 300 section where all the Joe's,transformers, cabbage patch etc etc were located. I never got into any of it, but it sure was cool toys.
@toyfederation Unfortunately, no . I was a teenager at the time and really wasn't into toys anymore. I also never thought about the future of toy's and how they could be a good investment. I'm a big Lego collector, though, and have been since 2011. My collection consists mostly of SW ,Potter ,and other themes.
Now that cool that guy knew everything about gi joes because even though I just now want to collect them but I never realized how different a re-mold could be
The guy is doing exactly what he said, and even has Ryan's assistant painting for him. 🧐 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-p8cQU-mAjRw.html
"You'd think if they cut down the mould it would start off with more detail and go to this" Actually, that's not how moulds work. Remember, moulds are the inverse, you don't build onto them you cut out of them which adds the detail. So, if you take a mould and want to add more detail you etch into or cut out the new detail, then when it's cast the new details stick out of the figure. For example, imagine you have a mould for the hull of a toy ship, but it had no masts; you could drill two deep holes into the mould, and when it was cast you'd see two masts sticking out of the figure like two solid pipes. This is way cheaper than re-sculpting and re-tooling a new mould! If you subtract detail from a mould, or you want to add lines or channels into it, you have to re-make the entire thing, you can't just fill parts of the mould in, especially not when they're brass or steel. That's why Action Man's 'Sharpshooter Head' was such an easy fix, they just etched a lug into the neck on the body mould.
So the he-man guy ? I couldn't help but think he made up the elaborate story to look like he had a real reason to buy them , when really it's to display in his house , especially when he said "imagine having all those displayed as a kid"😂
I was thinking the same , he is going to go home a play with his figures !😅…but then I feel bad that a lot of people (grown ups) didn’t have the resources or their families were poor and never got the chance to own these figures, then shame to buy them hits when they are too old, good for him for whatever he ends up doing 👍🏼😊
Just found this channel today. As a toy collector and admirer of vintage figures. Man this channel is simply amazing! Keep up the good work.!!! Just became a subscriber!!!
I have almost the whole collection of He Man Plus greyskull plus skeletors purple castle plus his purple panther and Battle cat, she Ra,manatarms, that robot, the hairy one and about 10 more
@@NosfeastLet me know what kind of deal you get on the Sun. Not to brag, but I own a couple prime acres there already. It cost a lot, but boy, is the heat nice on my joints.
If I'm not mistaken matty collector and mondo released 12 inch figures of vintage he man and collectors loved them and his will be double that size cant wait to see the finished product
I just started watching ur RU-vid channel this weekend so far I got to say is wow ya'll have a awesome collection of toy that I use to have when I was a kid I'm 60 years old and in one of the video I seen the Six Million Dollar Man .the master of the universe that guy had a good collection
You need to take classes from Rick Harrison from Pawn Stars when it comes to buying stuff. "I just don't see a market for these. Best i can do is $5 and a stick of gum, and I'm taking a huge risk."
No way! Pawn Stars sucks. Even when it was in it's prime. "Let me call my Buddy. The majority of those people don't collaborate with that shop anymore. It's all staged for show. This is genuine.
Well he doesn't own a pawn shop, he has a lot more freedom when it comes to product he may not need at the time, parts, speculation, display ideas, a pawn shop floor space is a lot more precious and also operates as a financial institution under federal law not a normal business so overhead is far more complicated of a subject to talk about

I actually dig the McDonald's toys. He should've taken them. They're awesome for what they are. Not to mention they come from a time where Happy Meals toys were cool then. Nowadays, not so much.
if anyone is in the ohio region im thinking of getting rid of all my he man origins. i have about 98% of the set, except filmation/turtles/ and the power con stuff. i went through great lengths to try to get the most mint possible set. everything is sealed and in protective cases. none of the creation exclusives are open. reason being im thinking of getting rid of it is i just dont like the direction mattel has gone with the line and distribution and overpaying for shipping and so many re releases of the same figures. i will continue to buy the line until it ends or i sell it. if possible i paid extra to buy collector grade. only a few cards have a slight corner bend or crease. i have all vehicles as well.
Incidentally I received both castle greyskull and snake mountain for Christmas i honestly don't remember if it was 83 or 84 but i kept both boxes I think my father who is a antihorder threw them away with lots of other valuable collectables including my Action man collection as they went in to the attic when I became a teenager some years later
Just found your channel and love it! I love the knowledge & fair pricing! Any chance we can get the MOTU buyers info? I’d love to see the project he is working on and what else his company creates!
I had all those at one point in my life.. mom sent them all to goodwill!!! Along with my castle gray skull! I would love to see this man’s final product.
