About this video: Nic has owned multiple BMW 4 Series coupes over the last few years, and after all this time, he has continued to dream about purchasing a BMW F82/3 M4. Now, though, the time was right to move forward with a purchase. After weeks of searching for a replacement for his 2014 BMW 428i M-Sport, he finally found the perfect M4 for him.
This car is a 2015 BMW M4 finished in Yas Marina Blue with a black & carbon fiber interior. The part that is new to us, though, is the convertible top - making it the F83 model of the F8x M4 series (coupe being the F82 BMW M4). There are so many new features that we’ve been exploring in Nic’s used 2015 BMW M4, and we’ve been both loving the experience that the M4 offers.
So far, it’s been a complete dream to even just be a passenger in the car. When Nic originally test drove this 2015 BMW M4 in Yas Marina Blue, I didn’t think there was any way I could love it much more than the standard 428i M-Sport. They look rather similar. They both have a very similar interior. And overall, the daily practicality is very similar (excluding the convertible top of the F83). However, instantly, you realize that the BMW M4 F83 is a completely different animal. This 2015 BMW M4 exhaust sounds like nothing else I’ve experienced. I’ve always been a huge fan of the exhaust on our 2011 Aston Martin Vantage V8, but the exhaust on Nic’s used 2015 BMW M4 F83 makes me laugh like crazy at all of the crackles and pops the exhaust throws off when driving enthusiastically.
Adding to the enthusiastic driving, the M Driving Modes on the BMW M4 make it a completely different beast as well. Being able to easily switch between different M Driving Modes on the steering wheel is such a fun and easy experience. Having that valved exhaust open when M1 or M2 are pressed makes driving such a pleasure. This car truly is something hilariously fun to experience. And frankly, I think an M4 makes a fantastic daily driver because of its practicality and usability.
There’s also a fantastic difference between the 428i and M4 when you compare the quality of the interior. The 428i leaves you wanting a bit more with quality. However, the M4 has such an improved leather and interior quality that it makes you feel like it was how the car was originally designed - unlike the 428i.
Overall, this 2015 used BMW M4 F83 in Yas Marina Blue is going to be a fantastic car for Nic. Oh, and did we mention that this used BMW M4 comes with a bumper to bumper CarMax warranty?!
