Yo, I’m from around there too. What places would you say are the best for shore fishing. Isn’t ballston Lake only on boat besides that 1 tiny dock you could fish from? But I need some new areas to fish at I’ve been going to Barney road pond a lot but just some small guys in there. Let me know please. Great work.

Ballston Lake is probably best by kayak but good shore fishing spots are Twin Lakes, Peebles Island, the hydro dam, all of the locks, and just random ponds that you can find on google maps. Only thing is if you find a good looking pond make sure it isnt private property otherwise youd have to ask the owners for the OK. Hope that helps!

ReelTime NY interesting I didn’t even know twin lakes had fish like that you could catch. And I’ve never even heard of peebles island. But thank you brother

I actually learned about this spot from someone else who told me to keep it kinda lowkey, but if u need a spot to catch even bigger fish you could check out Ballston Lake, i just caught my pb outta there last week 👌

Ballston lake is tough. You need access. There’s really no public access/trails that I know of. Big fish though.

M24Lupo Im not too familiar with Ballston Lake but ive had some good luck fishing the mid-part of the lake on the east side. The only times ive fished the lake ive caught huge fish though so definitely worth exploring

M24Lupo hey bro. Try Barney rd pond in Clifton park. I just fished there for the first time the other day. Some chunk large mouths and decent carp if ur into that. Good luck brother. It’s heavily pressured but if you know how to fish you’ll find em and a way to land em.
