Its also important to remember that Jesus (PBUH) was a laymen in the sense that he was a preacher. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on the other hand was of course that too but was also a active duty military officer and commander who not only took part in some battles but also commanded, planned and organized them. Because of this the Prophet (PBUH) had to make many difficult and complex decisions regarding military jurisprudence (court martial, executions etc) which from a ignorant outside view may be scene as violent .

In addition to the points mentioned in the video, if Jesus is the Almighty, the violent verses mentioned in the Old Testament, where, for example, Moses was instructed by God to commit acts of violence (the verse of the Amalekites, for example), means that these acts of violence were instructed by Jesus, so the "peace loving...Islam = bad & violent" Christian cannot run away from the Old Testament by relegating it to the past, because it was Jesus (according to their belief) who instructed such violence which has no equal in the Quran.

According to Christianity, Jesus is not only God but also a man and a prophet. So it's not a 'false comparison' or a 'phallacy', as you put it.
