I just don't get the logic here. You went in with the sole aim of having children. And the dude came in with the sole aim of having papers per your narrative. That sounds like y'all didn't love each other or it was more of a TRANSACTIONAL relationship, and the marriage ended. How then do you blame the guy for whatever happened? This beautiful lady may have lived in a ghetto in Maryland based on the description of where she lived. Obviously the person who hosted her in Maryland charged her rent the very first day without employment so they may have been on hard times! After 20 years in America, it would be better to take some community college-level courses and become a Licensed Practical Nurse [LPN] instead of a Certified Nursing Assistant [CNA]. My advise to the youth who are in America is to try to go to school [university level or a good trade school] when you get to America so that life will be much better for you--you can avoid holding many jobs! My dear, my hosting family started charging me about just two weeks when the wife helped me to get a job at McDonald's. They were living in their own house off route one in Alexandria. In fact, at that time, they were living well. Yet they started charging me too early to me. I am still grateful for them accepting me into their home at that time. Note: I was paid $6:50 per hour. Working only two to three hours for just 2 to 4 days.

Maryland is such a beautiful, peaceful state but if you live in some places in Prince George’s County like Langley Park, Hyattsville, or in Baltimore etc then you will think abroad is not beautiful. Ghana’s Ambassodor’s residence and many more Ambassodor’s, IMF and World Bank staff live in Maryland in Montgomery County in Chevy Chase, Bethesda, Potomac, etc. If you work cleaning jobs and nursing assistant jobs you will find it difficult to afford decent housing in decent places all over U.S. Decent Accommodation is not cheap at all.
But her parents don’t have to be citizens to bring their kids. They can file while they they greencard holders. Waiting for your citizenship before will probably take just as long so you might as well start the process

Many women when they are young think time is with them and dont give chance to relation with all seriousness and when age is catching up with them, they can irrational decisions and they later regret.

I did not want to comment but I agree….. NO ACCOUNTABILITY WHATSOEVER! As the saying goes, half truth is a lie! I will make it simple…. Man was married and living with wife with a baby on the way. Yes both man and wife needed nkrataa and as discussed he decided to pursue his first….she (plaintiff) was very much aware but like she said she wanted marriage and children. He saw an easy way out and walked out on his wife and a new born baby on the day of baby’s dedication. What you two had was no longer an arrangement but a marriage….This is over 12 years ago….Granted, you got the man you wanted but why publicize it and also pretend he was single and you thought you hit a jackpot….SMFH! Correct me if I’m wrong but what really did you expect??? I don’t know you that well enough but SERIOUSLY any man that can be so heartless enough to do what he did under the circumstance and for all these years???……What should one really expect? Alot of the caregivers furthered their education. That's just my opinion but doesn't mean she has to follow it. Living in the US is difficult now in terms of finances so that's what I would rather do at the same time, searching for the man. She sounds very intelligent.
