Today’s conversation is a really fun, girl chat where I try to give advice by sharing with my sister (and you guys) one of my experiences when I was in the dating scene. I’m not a professional neither do I claim to have all the answers but I hope this video makes you laugh, brings comfort and offers some guidance on how to use wisdom in navigating the season you may be in.

This is just another big shot. I was just laughing while learning. Jesus is Lord! But that ICM man is so funny. Please Ezinne, can you give us your perception about the criticism about women deciding to have discipline in choices of men that walk up to them and being so uptight to approach as a woman. I have had a sister told me, "the way you too serious minded, you might chase men away from proposing. I was like nah." That's too much! am I too disciplined about men?

This is totally unrelated but I recently gave my life to Christ and I decided to break up with my boyfriend even though at first it was a tough decision because he was a really good person but there were certain things we were doing that weren't right with me anymore and I am glad I did because I feel a lot better and happy. cheers to being 22, being in Christ, and being happy. Thank you Ezinne for all that you do.

The whole story of “lowering your standards “ so that you can claim you’ve been in a relationship before is none sense. I’m 22 years and I still don’t have a boyfriend; when I tell people my story they exclaim and they are shocked but honestly I know who I am in Christ and I’m not going to allow myself to allow bare minimum in all forms of relationship's because I am a 10. I pray people get over this fear and realize that God wants the best for us and he will provide the best❤️

You're right Ma'am! When it comes to dating, sex is a determinant of how long the relationship would last. I am 23yrs and I was in a relationship with this person and I couldn't give sex willingly but he violated me and it hurts 😔. At the end of the day, when he knew that i couldn't give sex, I saw another side of him and he used my flaws as an excuse to leave.. it really hurts but I have learnt lots of lessons

This happened to me too; where I prayed for the feelings to die when I was getting too obsessive with a guy and the next week literally, all the feelings just went from 100 to 0. Honestly, I think that’s the best method to get yourself out of any feeling that you shouldn’t be feeling; ask God to kill it.

Ezinne you and your sister are so beautiful. thank you for reaffirming that having standards is not the problem, also I have been in situations where people who don't really know how to be alone and enjoy it (because it's one thing to be alone) try to tell me I have a problem because I'm not actively dating. I know for sure that limiting the number of people I open up to in this life is for the better because siiiis there are so many broken people out here trying to drag others down with them.

This video was really helpful and fun to watch. Sometime ago, this guy I was talking to suggested we go to a "lounge" to be specific, a hotel, for a "date". He said he's a shy person and would be more comfortable in a hotel and we could talk there as well. I don't know if I'm the only person that thinks it says a lot about him, especially because it was meant to be our first meeting. We don't talk anymore because it turns out he thinks sex is what makes and upholds a relationship.

I love the chat and you guys are so pretty ♥️✨. Honestly I guess what most Christians are failing to do self introspection especially ladies. Most ladies don’t know who they are and they feel like perhaps they can just accept any man and try by all means to change the man. Please if you are a Christian (male /female) every time you are about to enter a relationship make sure that the God factor is the ultimate thing you look out for. There is a way a person who fears God will behave towards you and there are certain things he or she won’t do because he or she understands the love of Christ. 🤗

That question Somebi asked was a very salient question and the manner in which Ezinne answered the question just added to my knowledge on relationships. Just this part of the video reminded me of a dream I had. In this dream, I was in a car with Ezinne and she was given me relationship advice as well and after that she hugged me. It was so soothing. A kind of hug I don't even receive from my elder sister. ( that's the most abridged version of the dream I could give) God continue to bless you and keep you both🙏

Love the bond between you and your sister, plus this was also such a hilarious video😂 Also wanted to clarify that dating in the actual sense of the word doesn’t always involve sex though, and I realized Nigerians generally look as dating as courtship as well, so the words are usually interchanged even among Christians.

I totally agree 👌🏽….. God revealed the red flags 🚩 of my Ex. There’s a prayer I kept praying “Holy Spirit, reveal the real (insert name) to me.” The relationship only lasted two months. I can so relate to Somebi. The prayer started opening my eyes 👀 and I started feeling not at peace with this guy.
