I really enjoyed the Q&A, especially when you used your own experiences as an example. My husband is one that does not talk about his stresses or concerns. He feels like as Quan said, as a man he should just suck it up and deal with it on his own. I to Rissa feel like I am here to help and support him in all and any way❤🙏
Yall gave really good advice Quan I’m with you with the raising of the voice I do it because I grew up with 4 siblings and we all talked over each other to be heard during arguments but now because I’m working on it I always tell whoever I’m dating that’s something I’m working on but if u happen to do it rissa just lower your voice to a super soft tone and quan will naturally lower his it’s weird the way it happens but it works

I’m 32 and been with my husband 17 years, married 12. I’ve learned that trying to change someone from their ways is impossible but learning to embrace their strengths and weakness and empowering to trying different points of views works a lot better. If you don’t like him raising his voice when he gets upset then don’t press his buttons.. simple. Give him space and talk about the issue later.
I understand what yall mean about asking relationship advice. Although my husband and I have a healthy relationship and have not had many big issues in our 30 years marriage, I never want people to think we are perfect and have it all together.
