I'm 32 and let me tell you.... I look at 18 year olds and see BABIES. My oldest step son is 15. My oldest bio son is 14 in December. I was 18 when I gave birth to him. I was a baby who had a baby. I don't know how anyone over age 20 can look at an 18 year old be like "ohhhhhhhh I want some of that!" Just ew.

True, but unfortunately they can't go back. The kids are here time for both of them to grow up! I got pregnant at 21 and worked through my pregnancy. I was 22 when my son was born, his father decided to not be apart of his life. When someone has kids they need to make changes and realize that life doesn't revolve around their own needs. It's the children who come first, and at the very least it's a 18 year commitment in providing for them. And then even though they may be adults, give them emotional support and strength.

I don't have a problem with a man dating a younger woman. But unless he is the same age or maybe 2yrs older, he shouldn't date a woman under 27 years of age. At 19, she just gained her freedom as a young adult. No curfew, hanging out with friends. Date a little to figure out what kind of man she needs. Marriage is marriage untila legal divorce. And i doubt she supported all 4 of them working part time jobs at fast food places that pay minimum wage. My husband and I were 4 years apart. My parents signed for our marriage. Almost through out our 35 year marriage, my parents and grandparents stepped in on his behalf. I don't think he was ever admonished by them. My husband didn't grow up with his father and my grandfather was great because he did not have a son. We became a very close family. My grandfather was a Garbeyite and my husband and I were part of the US organization. We had a lot in common and when there were problems they nipped it at the bud. I'm 74 and survived the 70s in L. A. There's a lot of work to do during a marriage. Also, when you wore a dashiki with your baby on your back, partying was not a problem. 😊

News flash back in the day men were marying women who were at least 6 or 7 years younger. Those marriages despite some of the issues they encountered the vast majority of the marriages lasted.
