Mick Jagger is about to be 78 this month and literally STILL moves around like this.

The guy in front if the bongo player was Brian Jones, He died in 1969. He was a guitar player, sitar player and major part of the Stones until he died. He got big into drugs and was found dead in his pool.

The man with the Shakers is the famous Brian jones. He can play any instrument and always came up with some different idea for every song. Unfortunately drugs took its toll with him and he died way too young and The music never sounded the same.

This song has for many years had a ton of speculation surrounding the meaning and even interviews with Mick he’s said various things about the meaning. The song is a list of horrible events- Jesus Christ crucifixion, “Anastasia screamed in pain” overthrow of the Russian Tsar (the mob executed the entire family Anastasia was a child), the Blitzkrieg raged (WW2 and Nazi Germany), shouted who killed the Kennedy’s (assassination of John and Bobby Kennedy) ..... he (the Devil) was there when all this happened But it was at the hand of men. Was it the Devil that caused it all or are people naturally capable of being horrible??

This is from a movie called Rock And Roll Circus, you can get it on DVD and it might even be on RU-vid idk. But I know it's awesome. That's why all the members of The Who and The Beatles and some other big names were in the audience.

This was in 1968. Their first show at the Marquee Club in London, 1962 and they're still playing. Van, you know the Rolling Stones are fire!

That was a Union Jack flag, the flag of Great Britain, behind the conga player. Beatle John Lennon, in the audience "having a good time", does Yer Blues with guitar great Eric Clapton on guitar, Rolling Stones guitar great Keith Richards on bass, and Mitch Mitchell, drummer for Jimi Hendrix on drums, later in the show.

The stone were accused of glorifying the devil in this song. If you read the lyrics, this song is about the evil inside man, it's not about the devil. The blonde guy is Brian Jones. He was about to be thrown out of the band because of his drug problems. He was the lead guitarist in the band, but his drug abuse issues by this point were so bad he couldn't play. He died, or was murdered depending on which story you believe, not too long after this performance.

Another singer that has some *wild* moves is Iggy Pop. He's 74 and he's STILL rocking it out on stage, like Mick Jagger, who's a little older. The Stones and Iggy Pop both started out in the 60s well before my time, but I love their music. My favorite Stones song is still Paint it Black after all these years.

This is from the Rolling Stones rock and roll circus. There were lots of great artists and performances there. The Beatles were there and the dude on the bongos is from another great band. At the end they all sing "All you need is love"

This was a tv special called The Rolling Stones Rock n Roll Circus. Also on the show was The Who, Taj Mahal, a group made up of John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards on bass and Mitch Mitchell of Hendrix,on drums. They did a song called Yer Blues. Yoko was also in it doing her insane wailing. The show was never released on tv and nobody saw it till it came out on dvd many years later. The Stones did several songs. The guy with the maraccas was Brian Jones, who originally put the Stones together and gave them the name. He was part of the group until his abuse of drugs made him a liability to the group when he got busted and became unable to travel for some time. The rest of them wanted to tour America but he couldnt leave England. Besides that he wasnt contrinuting to their recordings due to being so messed up. Finally he was fired from the group. They asked him to come for this show and thats why hes there. He also plays some nice slide guitar on another of the tunes . Love in Vain. A few months later he drowned in his swimming pool toward the end of 1969 .

This is from the Rolling Stones Rock 'n' Roll Circus--it's an un-aired TV special from 1968. The guy with the glasses, having a "good time" on the side? That was John Lennon, who featured in the show with Eric Clapton in a supergroup called The Dirty Mac. You can probably find the whole special online if you're interested.

He developed a drug problem before Keith Richards did, and was eventually kicked out of the band due to the impact drugs were having on his ability to perform. Less than a year later, he was found dead in his swimming pool. Almost immediately, there were whispers that Mick Jagger and Keith Richards conspired to have him killed. Before the drugs ravaged him, he was an incredibly talented multi-instrumentalist.

Sympathy for the Devil came out in 1968. They were high as hell and having a grand old time.

The song was inspired by Bulgakov's famous novel "Master and Margarita" where the main protagonist is a devil himself.

Mick said he wrote this after reading the Russian book "Master and Margarita ". Long book about the devil and magic, but really a book about russian politics. Written the way it was so he didn't get thrown in jail

The Rock and Roll Circus was The Rolling Stones and a whole bunch of other acts that each performed at least one song.....If you try to buy a copy make sure you get one that is playable in the US because the ones that are in the other format are for Europe and if you buy one of those they won't play on a DVD here in the states....my understanding is that they are different in Europe

He was sweating because he was standing right under that stage light, the flag was the Union Jack, it was a party not technically a concert, everyone's drinking & other things one might do at a party back in 1969, I was 3yrs old & my mom was a huge Rolling Stones fan, we would listen to their music every Friday night and dance! Great memories! Keep up what you are doing man, love your content and your family is great 👍. Guests @ the party included, John Lennon, Yoko Ono, the Who (it's a band, check them out) and verious others who were in bands that were around that time, also the girls were either with the bands, wives, girlfriends or well let's say girls who were supporters of the music 😂🤘🤘🏻🤘
