I don’t understand how he could get caught in a lie once and then double down on his first win without expecting to get caught, especially with how blatant it was. I’d love to see the mental gymnastics in this man’s brain where he came to the conclusion that it would be a good idea. His reputation was already bad the first time but this makes it look so much worse.
@@cocorosh7295 I know that you're just tryna farm hate comments cause if you get off to that but you wouldnt be very happy if you got 50k stolen from you especially cause I know for a fact you have no where close to that.
When he says "everybody cheats," he's referring to tests or playing games with friends where no one is harmed in the end. A line gets crossed when someone cheats in a competition, as others are directly harmed due to cowards not having the dignity to admit they have been bested.
Even then, in friendly games, NOT everyone cheats. Most people don't. Most people think that's a fucked up thing to do to people they call friends even when there's no money on the line. It's just a cope thing cheaters tell themselves to try and absolve themselves of some bit of guilt.
He's straight up admitted to cheating in card game tournaments, stealing his opponents cards, getting them DQd, etc etc. Eevisu has always been a selfish POS he's just been funny enough and a small enough deal that nobody cared The worst part is now he's getting exposure and his followers and fans are gonna donate and support him through everything. "So brave for coming forward and admitting to cheating!" Yea, he only admitted cuz he got caught and then doubled down. "Don't listen to the haters they're just jealous!" No, we just don't like selfish dicks who screw other people over to get ahead
People try to "logic" why someone would lie when it seems to be pointless already (like if they were already caught), but the reality is it's not always about logic but their character. If they were cheating and lying, you should suspect highly they would be lying about other instances aswell.
@@mycookiehasnoname well yeah, I’m not sure your question makes sense. Everyone tells truths including liars (especially pathological liars) at points and they also use half truths in order to manipulate people.
Of course he lied.. he is already willing to cheat in a competition for 50 thousand dollars and screw the other competitors. Someone who does that will probably lie too.
Never thought the crossover would be so high but I guess it makes sense since Hermitcraft targets a slightly older minecraft audience. Scar/bdubs are goated
At this point I watch Mogul Mail more reliably than I watch the main channel. Been enjoying the content here and find it’s more interesting and authentic than some of the stream segment videos. Appreciate Lud keeping it real in these videos.. hope that doesn’t change as more people find this channel haha
Not at all surprised after his response that it was TOTALLY only the one time. Because we all know cheaters are very trustworthy about their cheating. Also, love the diffusion of self responsibility by just saying 'everyone cheats'. Cause having your own morals is too hard I guess.
@@hinamatsuro1908 using that as an attempt to excuse his behavior is poor form. He can have a wonderful personality but being willing to cheat and rob the other contestant of 50 grand shows a giant lack of morals
I love how seriously people are taking this shit. This shit is more funny than anything. Then you got people like this coming in here like “He has no morals!” “He is the worst person on the planet!” “I’ve never liked him anyways” 🤣🤣
"morals" oh give me a fucking break it's a Mizkif ripoff gameshow with other "influencers" done entirely on stream through Zoom, let's not act like he went and robbed a homeless family
Dude quite literally single handedly ruined his reputation, hundreds of thousands of people know him as that guy who cheated. I never knew of him before this stuff, he seems funny but he needs to get his lying problem solved.
@@suboptimal5798 that’s the sad thing now. So many people have cheated on schooled that nobody is going to care in a few months. When like half the streamers we watch are pieces of sht, we come to terms that it’s “okay” to be a cheater and a liar cuz it’s for “entertainment” and “content”. The streamers we watch are not good people. Like 99% of them have some type of mental issues, or are straight up bad people. They’re narcissistic, egotistical, they lie, they cheat, they abuse power / sexually harass (over fans and each other), they talk sht about each other, they treat us as beneath them, they steal money, etc etc. idk something about celebrities / influencers who care about public images tend to favour bad people. This isn’t just a celebrity / influencer thing, too. The quest for power has always been won by the people who desire it the most, and bad people desire it the most because of what morals they are willing to throw away.
EE cheating on Schooled really shouldn't be a surprise considering his history of lying/cheating. He's been caught cheating in mafia at Smash Summits and he cheated at a Delaware Regional Yugioh Tournament during top 8 and even stole 2 of his opponent's cards.
@@anthonyfernandez7553 lol honestly both versions are equally believable. Is it more likely he'd cheat at a game or steal from a friend and lie about a story? Idk. Let me pull up Wikipedia real quick.
he just needs to own up and actually admit "yeah i did a stupid thing a lot of times and i lied about how much i did it" etc., if he keeps dodging around whats going on this will follow him forever
@@DemonEyeHelix Nah. No one deserves for something to haunt them forever unless it also haunts the people involved like the people in the show, (not the people online) because they have no idea to forgive, which is normal, it's normal to hold grudges despite it not being good but to actually actively act on those feelings and talk negatively towards a person is bad. It's fine to say that you disliked what he did and you don't like him but for it to follow him around the rest of his life is too far.

@@frozerus no one’s gonna join tho. Dozens of people have canceled on him cuz why? They didn’t want to get on a CALL with him in the afternoon. You think they’re gonna spend a day / week with him for the show? Look how many times Miz had to get his own friends / otk members on the show just to keep it running. Unless Miz pays for their flights, meals, and time for participating in the show, as well as have them on his stream, it’s not gonna be worth it for them. Sorry, most of these streamers are selfish. Look at the poki mizzy podcast, poki doesn’t want to do it unless miz BUYS a house in la so they could do the podcast more often. Tldr: these people don’t even want to get on a call with Miz, you think they wanna fly for a day / week to meet him?
@@ghanaria7996 100% Agree. I wouldn't wanna be on a call or in a room with Miz and I'm a nobody with no influence... why would someone who is spoilt for choice and can hang out with other influencers or do their own stream waste their time with him. He's loud, he's obnoxious and I don't understand his popularity. The show format is great, clearly someone else came up with it, and hopefully someone else would continue it, but ego's will hold it back and it's probably dead without him.
@@comedyzone Um... thats not what he meant AT ALL. How the absolute fuck did you come up with that line of thinking?? The comment youre replying to was talking about how miz said the big streamers are extremely lazy with massive egos, and they dont even show up for a $50,000 prize on a discord call, so there's no possible way they're gonna fly out for him every week. He even said they wouldnt do it for xqc. Where the fuck did your comment come from? Everyone said schooled was miz's idea too, so not sure where your assumptions come from...
Gonna keep it blunt; most smashers know how unintelligent the guy is, lots of people should've knew how bullshit it was when he won the first episode but it got side tracked with him betraying penis gang and him being known as a nice dude for the most part
He didn’t tell the “truth” because he found the lying and scamming he did wrong. He only did it because he was caught. At no point did he grow from his lying way of solving a problem, so naturally it’s what he tried to do fix his reputation. Even in this new video we see there was no reflection at any point
Shouldn't have, probably. But it's the human thing to do. Especially when you think you know a person, you're willing to accept a mistake and forgive if they own up to it and apologize which EE seemingly did at first.
What irks me the most is that he called his mother after & said he won & acted all happy like he ACTUALLY did win when he really cheated to get there 😐
Mogul mail is like Ludwig’s version of lemme sum up what I’m doing for the people who don’t have time - I’m an Astronomy and Astrophysics grad student, and especially after getting in grad school about a year ago I haven’t had time to be fully invested in twitch / livestreams and it’s been nice having mogul mail as like… not a “drama news channel” not a “news channel” just kind of a text / chat with Ludwig about what’s going on
I honestly try to think the best of someone, even if they do wrong by me, but when that same person decides to test the limits by continually lying and not admitting that they did something wrong that's when I decide to no longer be associated with them. Besides that, loving the content recently Lud.
my mom growing up would always tell me in spanish “the liar gets caught faster than the thief” and i hold that phrase to the most high in how true it is
Sometimes I ask myself 'Why the hell would I listen to him talk about Elon Musk buying Twitter or Club Penguin being shut down by Disney, Ludwig has 0 authority in either of these topics as well has about 0 expertise about these specific subjects' but I end up watching it anyway
He cheated during a Delaware Yugioh Regional Tournament in top 8 AND stole 2 of his opponent's cards. He has also been caught cheating in Mafia at Smash Summits. This is a reoccurring thing that he has shown no signs of stopping/learning from.
He wont learn. He has cheated multiple times and lied about it multiple times. Give him a chance and he’ll stab you in the back again. People like this don’t learn, and don’t want to learn.
@@DemonEyeHelix cheating and theft is bad enough for me, but did he really steal someones Yu-Gi-Oh cards 🤣 that's just plain mean and kinda sad........Is Nothing Sacred!
@@iwi2042 Yeah, the short version of the story is that EE was playing at a yugioh tournament. While shuffling his opponent's deck, he slipped 2 cards out their deck, dropped them on the floor and covered them with his foot. He then called for a judge and requested the judge to count the cards in his opponent's deck, essentially accusing his opponent of using a deck with too few cards (minimum 40 for a legal deck). The judge counted and found 38 cards, 2 short of being legal, so EE's opponent was disqualified from top 8. After his opponent cleaned up his stuff and left, EE picked up the 2 cards and pocketed them.
@@Saddestcrab only now he lost the money, and his credibility. If anyone else were to do some type of competition they probably wouldn’t wanna include him so he just loses out on all fronts.
@@DemonEyeHelix ya i never understood that. Like in video games where people use hacks and sht. Like why? It takes no skill, and you’re ruining everyone’s fun. What is actually wrong with your head, you know? It has to be abuse or neglect or some type of bad childhood where they want revenge on the world or smth.
I keep thinking back to how when EE "won" he thanked Miz for having him in the show after HE ASKED Miz if he could have him on, and every time I cringe into a different planet
the part where he called his mom has me cringing the hardest knowing that he probably already had all this planned since he had a high chance to win due to cheating.
@@FMA4ever123 oh god did he have to call her again and tell her he cheated and didn't get the money?? 😬 I'm almost hoping he faked the call or that it wasn't actually his mom because holy shit I'd vanish into the shadow realm if I had to do that
The problem with cheating on a quiz show, is it’s hard to know, what’s believable for you to “know”. I feel like that’s where EE really messed up. He picked some of the craziest niche questions to “know” Edit: for example, the final question of the final was just insane. And even the one in this video, about the neo lithic revolution (or whatever, cba to rewind and watch again rn), I went to undergrad for archaeology, I had a whole class on that time period and region, and I couldn’t remember what it’s called.
I have studied Jean-Jacques Rousseau both for my philosophy class and my French literature class, he used to be a philosopher I admired. I still did not remember he was the author of "The Social Contract". There is no way in hell EE knew that.
My favorite part in that old episode is when he guesses an answer that lud copies and EE says "let me just say we are riding dirty on this one" aka I cheated. What makes it really funny is its the wrong answer and you can just see the shock. I love EE but damn that was funny.
i know ee can definitely come back from this but it’s going to be extremely difficult. those who don’t know him from smash will definitely know him as the guy who cheated MULTIPLE TIMES
honestly he was probably rushing or a bit panicked trying to reply to everyone cause if he wanted to keep lying he wouldn't have said it on stream, then again what do i know 😭
To protect his rep He’s a pretty small smash commentator (as a smash commentator he’s a pretty big channel but the smash scene isn’t huge) and he was on a fucking huge stream on otk. He needed more publicity and winning would be really good. But when everyone found out he cheated now he is just known as “the guy who cheated on otk” and not for any of the other great things he’s produced before this. And since he was dming a RU-vidr with a huge fan base, he probably didn’t want lud to think badly of him and therefore all of his viewers think badly of him. His Situation sucks and most things he could have done would have made it worse (I’m not saying I endorse the cheating just answering the question no harm or disrespect meant sorry if any was implied)
I mean he continues to lie about it and subtly throwing people under the bus to excuse his cheating. Here's a crazy thought, he's a liar. People need to stop giving this guy the benefit of the doubt if he still isn't coming clean with it when everyone already knows what he did.
Call me old fashioned, but I feel there is a sweet spot for these kind of things. If too little money is involved, it's hard to care, but if too much money is involved it's a bit gross.
since you brought it up at the end, definitely part of the 10k that subbed coz I've been watching mogul mail vids regularly, I didn't even realize I wasn't subbed lol
How did EE watch like every LSF redditor pull years of detective experience out of their ass and not expect the truth of the first episode to come out as well
Yea i really liked this man. Really. And Now that more and more lies are showing There is no place in this world he will be seen as anything but an absolute Cheater. And an absolute scammer.
I have met many liers in my life and even though there is a big scale in "skill" it's interesting how many guys who are practiced in lying and have no Shame in bringing others into it all act exactly like EE. It feels so slimey when you have seen that vibe before but it does fool some people.
I used to actually watch EE a while back, and even subbed for a month. Pretty quickly he started reminding me of a guy I used to work closely with in a bad way. He was a liar, insecure, and unable to accept simply losing or anything that he might consider embarrassing. Made up stories to look good, made up excuses to why he lost instead of just saying “good game, I’ll get ya next time!” I had to stop watching EE because I just got such a bad vibe. Not at all surprised about all of this.
EE seems like a compulsive liar. Based off what he said and personal experience, he honestly didn’t think he cheated the first game show. In his mind he didn’t do it, his vips did it so he was in the clear. Obviously that’s not how integrity works
He doesn't have the ability to take accountability for his actions. All of his "apologies" blame either his friends/vips or the show itself. It's like he doesn't understand that his morales and choices are his own 😬
I think it’s crazy that EE would cheat to try to steal 50 thousand dollars, but i think it’s even crazy that he went on and lied to his friends about it. I guess it shows that streamers can really be completely different people from what they appear to be on stream.
My RU-vid recommended lately has been smash bros, ludwig, and pro poker. Seeing lud and the poker world collide is kind of insane. Best of luck, it'll be great content
Imagine being a white guy that isn't racist and doesn't want controversy and having him confront you spouting off racist memes and looking for reaction content....EEVisu is cringe and it doesn't shock me that he ended up being his own worst enemy.
@@monkeman6946 Have you not seen his race bait-y videos? @@actuallynotsteve I mean I can see how it can be cringe but I don’t get how this has to do with anything. It’s a show the people go on willingly it’s not like be is confronting them or anything.
I think it is important to acknowledge there is a psychological phenomena where we as humans are more likely to attribute a persons mistakes to their personality and not their situation, for example when you get cut off in traffic you don't think about the person possibly rushing to the hospital to see a loved one, you just assume the person is a selfish asshole. Its much easier to throw stones when we ourselves were not put in the situation where cheating would gain us exposure and $50,000. With that being said there is no excuse for EE actions, its just to say there is not reason to create a hate mob, you can condemn his actions by simply not watching his content.
No we are moral arbiters and would never cheat so we will use this random nobody streamer as a scapegoat for views and promote ourselves as very righteous people
He's done similar for less. He's a compulsive liar with a history. I find it highly disingenuous to say that he did it because of what was on the line, and pretty much suggesting that anyone would do the same in his situation...it's called having morales. Honestly the part that gets me is that he had a whole ass story involving his parents 🤮
I think something that isn't being discussed is that EE is a relatively small streamer and $50k is life-changing money to him. It's the same reason why poor people aren't allowed to go on game shows. They're the most incentivized to cheat. It's a weird dynamic to have when you have someone like Ludwig, who is of course a billionaire award winning 5'7 streamer who doesn't really care about the prize, whereas someone who makes $60k a year and is offered a shot at $50k is going to desperately want that money
@@jey1834 Far from being poor doesn't make 50k a small sum. If you make $100k a year, you aren't even close to poor, but $50k is half your annual salary in a single day. It's life-changing money. I'm not gonna pretend to know what EE's wallet looks like, but that amount of money is a lot of temptation for anyone and it just grows the less money you already have. Also, I'm not justifying him cheating. It's fucked up that he tried to steal $50,000 from the rightful winner, but it's not as simple as "he's a cheater because he's a cheater"
Yeah you're right about the whole first impression thing. The only things I've seen from EE are; 1. Staring at a girls ass live on stream, creepy as shit, thank god the girl ran with the joke afterwards, but oh my god that could have been SO awful for her. 2. Cheating on the finale. 3. Seeing him lie repeatedly directly to your face, after you have even mentioned you're on somewhat friendly terms. Like holy fuck dude, come the hell on, wake the fuck up EE, this shit is embarassing.
