Hey bro trust me be with your dad every chance you can. I'm 37 my dad retired at 66 then 6 years later he passed way to soon. It was so quick. I MISS my DAD every day!!!! I wish I could just talk to him about the new look steelers this year.. but I cant
His box truck RV concept is phenomenal! But what really grabbed me was his story about his relationship with his dad. My dad passed away last year, and now my mom is fighting for her life in the hospital.😢 Exodus 20:12 NIV “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you." Ephesians 6:2-3 NIV “Honor your father and mother” which is the first commandment with a promise “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”
"Coming to you from my box truck." Nomad Brad is Blowing up. Brad has become a big leader in the box truck revolution.. great interview very well edited.
One of the top 5 conversions - really the best I’ve seen! So neat, feels roomy; bright & comfortable! Very well thought out. AND I REALLY LOVE that counter top!!! GREAT JOB. ❤
What an AWESOME build!!! This guy is so creative & clever, has great taste and has created a very enviable, stealthy lifestyle!! Wow!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
I lived in a 16 foot pull behind camper for 5 years while I was a Travelling Tech for Indian Motorcycles. I absolutely loved it, The only things my camper didn't have was a bathroom/shower and laundry but I would stay in state/national parks campgrounds and they all have bathroom and shower facilities and most had laundry too. I was never in 1 place more than 3 months at a time so I was never in a place long enough to hate it but there were a few places I loved. I was at my final stop twice though and I after my contract was up I just stayed and bought a house because it was one of the places I loved. a year later I bought a building to open up my own shop and built an apartment above my shop and then sold my house.
This man is brilliant, talented, responsible and extremely perceptive. I completely agree with him and his philosophy...and he's found a way to make life work.❤
I value your ability to express yourself concisely without "like" and other filler words inserted every other word or phrase! That helps, in addition to the detailed subject content, makes your channel a strong draw for me. Kudos! 😊
Very much agree! Those filler words get extremely annoying; learned to not even finish watching a video or subscribe to one leaning on fillers, whether it’s the channel owner or somebody they are interviewing. TY for posting; I don’t feel so alone anymore! 🙏
What an engaging guy, and one of the best micro-homes I've seen yet. Very practical, clever, economical and attractive. Amazing that he could make it all work so well together!
This is the best build. Now, i want one very similar. It's just so good, and it's beautiful! Those are my favorite windows. They are so practical. AND... you've just introduced me to the composting toilet I've been looking for. It's perfect. Everything else is too big and way too expensive. Thanks for the inspiring tour!
I hope more people can see that a compromise / trade in lifestyle can lead to a better lived life, it's totally possible and we're only here for a limited time. Carpe Diem !!
My mom passed this Jan... when he started crying. I know that rush of emotion... like i get it, and its the worst feeling. cause all you want is more time... but you never will get that time... then sadness, and anger hits... the blaming yourself... it sucks...
Thanks for watching my van tour! Follow along with my journey here: Living in a Van Life Community in California | What it's actually like ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g-ORcd4gC2I.html
@@nomadbrad503 that’s cool! I think I remember them saying that they did work for this channel in one of their videos. Thanks for letting me know. They do awesome work along with their partner in crime Nomad Brad 😂
I have watched many videos of others doing the same... and it just occurred to me... these are the Pimped Out Modern Day Covered-wagon! Simplistic living like our ancestors but with modern conveniences. Lol and still run by horsepower but just a bit more!
I love all the inspiration! It looks great.. I built one out of a refrigerated truck box because I live in Arizona and needed solar powered AC when it's 120° outside.. My system works phenomenally and has no problem holding 74°. I have a full size shower, refrigerator, 65-in TV, internet, dual recliners, full kitchen. But it's all packed into a 16 ft box which is just a bit cramped. I plan to build out a bit bigger 24ft-30ft refrigerated straight truck with the extra weight capacity I'll be able to have 250 to 500 gallons of fresh water. And a lot more space fully solar-powered by 3300 watts of panels and a 1200 amp hour battery bank! Full-time home on wheels! Because being stuck in one place just doesn't make any sense to me.
What a beautiful home he has made in this box truck. Everything is so well thought out. It doesn't look cramped at all and is very bright and welcoming. He seems like such a lovely person also. Love the close connection that he and his father have. Wishing him the very best in all of his travels.
This guy put alot of thought into this build and he has a very comfortable place.. This is one of the best ones I've seen yet.. I'm gonna go follow his page
I love everything about this build. Such a smart design of a small space! Did I miss a shower...? I would love to know some of the products used. I'll have to check out his YT channel.
Hell yeah, brother. Great life. I'm glad you found your paradise. You're inspiring me to do the same. And my condolences on your dad. I lost mine too. It's tough. Stay strong.
3:20 - that’s where I am. I spend so much of my life working that my mom died, my dads getting older and I barely remember raising my adult daughter and definitely didn’t get near enough quality time with her. I was too broke to do anything else and cps takes kids away that live in vehicles so I was stuck.
I have talked with Brad before and his set up is brilliant. I asked him if his commercial advertising was part of his plan to be stealth and he said it was. Looks for legit to be somewhere. Best review of his rig I have ever seen.
You have done a wonderful job making your home on wheels. It’s well thought out, very clean and not cluttered. Good job young man. One thing, where do you park over night?
I have a 34 year old son that I think would love this life style. He is an hourly worker in Jackson Hole, WY and has to work three jobs to afford to live in a room in an apartment he shares with two others people. He absolutely loves living in the mountains and working at the ski resort but is getting tired of having to work 3 jobs just to pay bills and eat.
Enjoy.. love how you want to spend time with your father, God bless all, it's priceless. I am curious about how you shower daily.... I love the build but the shower would be a deal breaker for some. Enjoy.....
No shower so am assuming he can park up and use facilities somewhere. It's a nice build and layout. Would have been nice if he had showed how the door to the cab worked (curious me).
Any outdoor shower or setup shower inside? If not, what do you tend to do? Seek places (campgrounds, etc) where you can find shower facilities? Just curious 👀
That was so sweet when Brad got emotional when talking about his dad. My dad - father, actually - is a narcissistic 'b' word who treated me like crap all of my life (no contact for last 21 years (his doing), so I must be a crap child to him). Unfortunately, he is still alive and kicking (I'm convinced he's a cockroach), but I would gladly exchange his life for the commenters on this video who had great relationships with their dads and who passed away.
