During the majority of raiding I was working 40-50+ hours every week, raiding 10pm EST to 2-2:30am EST and getting up for work at around 7:15am. Staying up till 3:28am sometimes after raid to get dmf always made for a brutal monday.. no Bugatti tho :(

"skill" dosnt save you from dying in hc, petri does.

@@napukapu as someone who actually off the cuff dominated vanilla, just by playing it a lot between 2004-6, I can tell you, not very many people were actually minmaxing buffs and items. So I'm telling you the truth, AQ and Naxx was not holding most people's attention if they already had grinded out a lot of T2 gears. A lot of people were getting bored and quiting. I specifically remember when TBC was announced, a lot of people just took a break and waited for it. Naxx wasn't worth their time. That's what 2006 was really like for most end game players. Now days the content is 100% minmaxed and the way people play it is perverted by play guides. There's no natural puzzle to figure out except for maybe the speed runners. This is why it's known that

hardcore makes easy content like classic always engaging and fun especially when you play with good people and enjoy the friendships earned along the way:)

Total game time played currently : 49 days, 6 hours, 32 minutes, 48 seconds. I'm pretty confident my rerelease classic wow hunter had close to double this. Most of the top percentile HC players also close to double this if they haven't died on their first toon.

haha yea true that, Purpose is such a good guild that I've rarely ever been in any true danger even when pulling end game content. Only close calls were due to server instabilities or disconnects. Pallys and Hunters def safest HC classes! - Chumps

@@JSalonsky rogues got an out in dicey fights for sure but they typically die to melee shenanigans on trash or scuffed boss pulls.

GDKP's were banned when I started raiding due to RMT bonanza with ONLY FANGZ, I personally never even thought about buying gold in hardcore... no need, you get all the money you ever need from running strat lives for orbs. In Taiwanese server they only do GDKP I believe.

For whatever reason, they didn't add Rag to the soul of iron. Maybe because it was originally designed of SoM and they just didn't code correctly? Would be nice to get another icon in there.
