I become a Christian in 1980, so I grew up on Maranatha praise/worship music. They were up beat and were basically the psalms written out in music. To ALL that were involved in writing/singing/musicians/creators of albums. THANK YOU from my ❤️. It was foundation to my beginnings walk with my Saviour/Lord Jesus Christ. woke up with this song in my head today, I am on a path back to Christ, and it's amazing, the past month, worship songs from the church i grew up in will be playing in my head upon awakening to another day, another chance to make things right, to be better, and give the glory to God. I tried finding truth in other places over the past 17 years, and it all lead me back to the ONE truth, forever HIS truth shall reign!
Gabriel!! HE is doing the EXACT same thing for me!!! I have been such a FOOL for following after the flesh... BUT GOD!!! I LOOOOVE that phrase... because it's SO true!!! But GOD is kind, loving, merciful and longsuffering. HE picked me back up, cleaned me up and now it's as if I never left!!! GLORY AND PRAISE TO GOD ALMIGHTY!!! Who is like the LORD??!! NO ONE, only HIM!!! Everyday is a new adventure. HE is constantly showing me either new things or things yhat I long ago forgotten about. I LOVE IT!!!! 😃
We watched the star of Bethlehem documentary from like 20 years ago and boy that was so powerful enough. I got done. I had this song in my head makes certain connections but yes amen God is so divine.!!
Music that transcends all ages... Still blessed when I listen to maranatha and integrity music. These songs speak the word, therefore they are timeless 💪👌💯
Pastors Bill and Veronica Winston's PRAISE TEAM sings this after they sing The other songs ( Pastor Bill's request) I ALWAYS say YES that's my favorite song they SING !!!!!
I was born in 2000, but I grew up listening to 80s Christian music, as that is what my mom listened to. I love this song so much, and I get goosebumps every time, many times crying as well. Shout to the Lord is another memorable one.
I also had Maranatha songs as foundation of my Christian life when I was a kid. Now that I'm part of the music ministry and mostly contemporary songs were played, I'm not sure how these type of songs which I think were classified as gospel songs fit in our praise and worship coz they were neither too fast for a worship song and too slow for joyful song. I think it can only fit as concert line up. Can someone give me idea please. I want to introduce them again to the new generation in my church. Thank you!
Even so, come lord Jesus. I do not want to be part of this dying world anymore, forgive me of my sinful ways and may the wants of my spirit overcome wants of my flesh. May I stand strong for truth, for Jesus, for his commandments, and for your holy word through the upcoming persecution even until death. Amen
We trade this temporary, momentary pain for an eternity in His awesome presence, there can be no comparison, nothing better. ... when we've been there 10,000 years...
