When I listened to "How Could You Leave Us", I cried because of his pain. When I listened to Mama, I cried because I was proud of him and relieved that he was able to forgive her and heal his heart.
Thank you for another great reaction. I lost my mom to prescription drugs over 10 years ago so it's so relatable and I'm so happy that Nate is in a better place with his mom and life in general.
The second I heard this song when the album dropped I've been waiting for you to get to this one!!! My first thought was Rosalie!! Even for someone who is new to NF, this is a tough song to get through emotionally. Knowing the story and where he was at the beginning of his own "journey" this song tugs on your heartstrings even more. It shows his growth and maturity and I am so glad to see him getting to a better place.

what i love about the things that he writes is that it’s not difficult to understand, there’s so much imagery (which is why a lot of his songs don’t need videos)
I'm soo happy for his journey or forgiving his mother. I cried when I heard it and made me full of joy. This shows his healing journey. I connect with it a lot as I also lost my father to drugs and alcohol. I've forgiven him and live with a smile knowing he's watching over me and proud of me.
Rosalie, Nate will ALWAYS use his voice for all vocals unless he mentions them as a feature. He will sing his main part ( which is his natural voice) then harmonies that he pitches and such. This song is so amazing! I love it so much. This song has a lot of soul in it.

My mums still here but Nan was hardest loss (same feeling) plus being mum imagine this pain for kids ….makes me fight for life ….I’m having to see him live no chance of me not sobbing 😂😊😢
I miss my mom so much and every time I listen to this song I cry so much my mom passed 6 months ago from a massive heart attack and she had a lot of anxiety and depression and I pray she’s not crying anymore i pray that she is finally at peace and happy up there in heaven

My mom beat me home with Lord and I know she is singing with the lord!!! Several times the Bible teaches us the angels are constantly singing before the Lord!!! Sorry to comment technical on such a beautiful emotional track but…. This is super technical: On your mic, you have a gate. When the signal gets quiet enough, it cuts it off(mutes it). This is good because it stops the humming noise. Its bad because i think that my headphones got unplugged or I accidentally pressed the mute button. So my solution, which you may not have the capabilities for is to do a soft gate, also called an expander. It reduces the level instead of completely turning it off. This allows you to cut back on the noise, but still doesn’t make it seem like all the audio is off like a mistake. I think it would be a bit less distracting. On speakers, this isn’t an issue but on headphones I think it is. Anyways, there it is.
Rosalie, i would very much like for you to look into Kin - Fables trilogy. They are not so much just music but rather a very very well designed, musical theatrical piece. It tells a very intricate yet simple story with music that drives a very powerful emotional response as you think about the meaning behind the storyline. These videos do not get enough attention in my opinion, the whole story from beginning to end is such an amazing trip and made me feel so much.

What do you mean "tHe SaMe BeAtS"?!?... & every song needs to be complicated & hard to write in order to be good? It certainly seems to resonate with a lot of people (at least ones that aren't trying to simultaneously criticize an artist & self-promote).
I love NF and this channel but I have to stop this song and video because of the whole GOD thing. Religion is the biggest scam ever created and is responsible for more pain and suffering than anything else on earth.
