Bought my first computer in early 1980s. It was a Commador 64 but don't remember what I paid. Did do some simple programming on it and kids played games. Ah the good old days.

Great finds! As for VHS tapes, I think the real money is in old early 70s B-movie horror films- the ones where you'd find actors like Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, and Vincent Price.

Guitar player here! I wouldn’t say he was exactly lying. Some guitars do actually have whammy bars with no tension/ whammy bars that hang down or even are built without screw threads so you can take it off and put it on at will. That said, it’s a game controller not a real guitar, and idk how well it would play with the game. :)

Any time I find items bundled with tape where you can't check it out I think about my grandma telling me about a yard sale she went to a looong time ago. She was on a very limited budget with 5 kids and was excited to find nice curtains, wrapped up. She took them home and found that they were folded so the nicest part faced outward, but they were all stained and had rips. Worst part is that she knew the lady and never forgot that sketchiness. On a Goodwill trip I broke tape on a sealed light fixture and board game, which I never do, and I was glad I did! Most of the parts were missing in the game and the light fixture was clearly the old one in the replacement's box. Saved $10 and was more careful from then on. Be careful out there everyone!

Congratulations to your daughter on her 33 SAT score! My son was one and done with a 32. Lots of scholarship money was thrown at him by a lot of liberal arts colleges. He stayed close to home on an almost full ride.

If she doesn't have a good multimedia drawing journal yet (110 lb or 130 lb paper or ↗️) that would make a great gift! It's for her to try out whatever she feels like drawing - NOT looking for perfection on every page; just date each one. ♥️
