Spending $5 on an abandoned storage unit turns out to be a quick money maker for me! #storagewars #abandonedstorageunit #trashtotreasure Follow me on Instagram @paperandmoose
Hi Renee. $5 bucks for this unit was the right move. You didn't lose much on the unit. You did get your money back on the ring 💍. But some of the clothes can be sold and the rest to donate. God Bless on this amazing and crazy unit. Have an amazing weekend Renee. HUGS 🤗 my friend. Maria. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍💜💗💖💕💙
Renee, great locker for $5. The jewelry definitely paid for the unit & then some. You were under the treasure hunting gods today. Most of your boxes actually contain their items intact. The jewelry, the watch, etc. So awesome finds for $5 plus it was a clean, odorless unit to boot. Thanks for sharing & continue success. Have a great weekend, Renee!
five bucks ia a small price to pay for a 14 k gold ring, lots of stuff to sell at the flea market, plus you got a good video out of it.....maybe Cheech or Chong might want to buy the "plant" hat..haha.....well, Miss Moose, it just goes to prove what I always say........ not all SuperHeroes wear capes....some wear a jacket, gloves, ponytail, and a smile! 😎😎
Hello,Renee looks like a cold day where your at. A five dollar unit not bad maybe the best five you ever spent . I see you found something to put a smile on your face . May you be blessed in your findings.Good to see your out and about.
Over 70k subscribers, a $5 unit with a 14k gold ring and other goodies, and your attitude of good will for the owner's well being makes this video an absolute win 🏆 ❤😊
Just a suggestion. There are tons of youtube sellers. Maybe as you go through stuff throw a letter and a price on things. Once it's paid, pin a list in the chat of sold items. Could rake in some good coinage.
Check with taco. He may have the other size 13 shoe you’re looking for. He pulled it out of a bag this morning. What a great storage unit. Happy for you.❤
Five bucks for an adventure? I'd say it was worth it alright. Entertaining but crying out for a squint-free jeweller's loupe to verify that sneaky gold! Nice bit of Swab..Swoz…Swavor…Souz - shiny crystal baubles! Very nice. More evidence of Columbia's finest - not to dwell on that. A smartwatch you can use in the gym - what's not to love about it all? Well done Renee!
I would expect as you become a more experienced buyer, you will buy more expensive units. I know you're limited by not having a big truck, but there is money to be made if pay up. Even if a unit is bad, you can at least get enough RU-vid views to somewhat offset the cost. I don't say bigger, just better. A 5 x 5 with really good items would suit you well. Somebody might bid against you, but if you see good items you'd probably be safe going up to $100 or $150.
Exactly, on the 5th year of YT, reselling, etc. it's time to make the leap to the 'big leagues' at some point. Otherwise, it's just 'playing at cards.'
A very nice and clean lady´s inventory in this neat storage locker. Congrats on the jewelry, but: just eighty bucks scrap value for a 585 (14 k) gold ring ?! This must have been a very light one. Anyways: some great finds and a very profitable unit, that´s what finally counts. Have a great weekend, and enjoy your success ! Greets from GER, U.
It was a low weight ring, but I’ll take $80 any day! I also now have a multi-tool flashlight for both future storage units & cleanouts. Flashlight & a pocket knife wrapped in one! Speaking of cleanouts, checked on a possible job today but nothing too promising. A newer home with mostly everything removed from it, just one room & a kitchen that really needs items removed. Plus lots of furniture 😬 Tony has some other leads though on other jobs, so we shall about them! We are in for another round of snow here, so looks like another wash-out for a weekend flea market day. Spring will come around eventually! Hope that you have a great weekend!
just so you know, for the powder type of makeup (shadows, blushes, pressed powder and the like) you can spray some alcohol on it and then let it dry to sanitize it. that first box was some nice-looking stuff. id hesitate to pitch it.
Nice unit - learn new things with each locker and make money at the same time! Not sure if you've done it deliberately, but I think you've made a good move to have these storage unit videos more frequently. Seems like your # of subscribers has grown more quickly since you've been doing more of these. Just my impression. 'Course you know the history ones are my favorite - but they don't pay the bills. And the way you "reveal" these units is captivating - building anticipation. Glad you received good money for the ring - hope the tent, watch & UV light bring profit as well (I guess it's all profit after the ring). Hope the snow has melted up your way and that you have a terrific weekend! (No elevator? That's just mean 🤨).
People enjoy watching storage unit reveals, so if I’m able to purchase one at a decent price, why not! There were many units available at this in-person auction, but prices went fairly high with I think the highest selling locker going for a little over $2,500. That’s a pretty big gamble, but for that winning bidder they thought it was worth it. Or perhaps they already have a buyer for the washer, dryer, & refrigerator that was right up front in the unit. Another unit was filled with salon equipment & that sold for $650. Perfect for someone that is planning on opening or selling to a salon, but a pass for me. I actually have my eyes on another unit that is coming up in the next few weeks, so we shall see how that goes! Snow is melting a big here but now tonight they are calling for another storm with more snow. We’ll see what the weather brings!
Renee!!! Thanks for taking us along for all of this one! I appreciate you!!! I would have been happy finding a hair dryer alone ! But you found so much more! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!
Certain editions of the NA handbook are particularly sought after. I sold a batch of 12 step books on eBay and got several questions about which edition the NA handbook was. I know you mentioned vintage being sometimes valuable but that one is relatively contemporary. Another stellar video Renee.
Yes! I’ve mentioned that in some of my other storage unit videos, to which some actually get mad that one would rather donate the towels/blankets than attempt to sell for them $1.00 (because at my flea markets, I’d be lucky to even get that for a used towel).
Old towels and bedding? Right to the pet rescue they go! The wanna-be porch kitties will thank you. If you have a decent amount of the Strawberry Dr Pepper, it was a limited edition and may have buyers.
Well, good for you on the ring! Hope the other jewelry turned out to have some value. I buy a few storage units myself. It's like opening presents at Christmas. You never know what you'll find.
My wife and I wouldn't miss one of your vids and your happy faces - it was nice to see how you made out with the ring , we often wonder how well you do on some items . really none of our business but were are glad for you when you do good ! might inspire other want to be resellers to once in awhile show how you did . thanks and looking forward to your next video
There is an addiction recovery center nearby and they gratefully take donations of clothing as many people show up there court ordered with nothing but the clothes on their back. Hope this person is doing well in their recovery. That eyeshadow makeup can be used like ink pads to weather edges in your journal
Hi, I've gotten suitcases at yard sales. I line them with trash bags. Most of my clothes are from rummage sales or second-hand. You did very well for $5. Always fun to watch. Tina, Al's wife
Hey, I love surprises. I have to correct you,yes you collect “rubbish” NOT garbage.I was told by the guy I worked for we were not garbage collectors, which was true, but rubbish collectors- there is a difference.
Very nice. I found a ring after the GW bins were searched. The employees are taking anything of value in the back a second time. it's so bad. I may have gotten a gold ring and silver earrings. Hope next week I can find out.
