HE-MAN & SHE-RA Orchestral themes medley 

There is a subtle trait I noticed while hearing it: the He-man theme sounds like a march, something deeper, imposing, majestic, something that would indeed belong to a wanderer barbarian warrior. You feel like the theme itself is saying "I have the power". She-ra's theme, on other hand, is more upbeating, light-hearted, like something that belongs to a magical girl that comes to save the day and make people feel, once again, happiness, joy and hope. I mean, I know these are their original themes, but only this version nailed such feeling on me. Kudos for the composer.

This gives He-Man & Co. a kind of respect they never would've gotten on TV.

Impressive. I knew the He-Man theme naturally lent itself to the heroic treatment, but I never imagined the She-Ra theme could work that well. I guess this once again proves that a melody can be whatever you want it to be as long as you know how to treat it.

I have goosebumps and feel so happy right now. I can see myself as a little girl holding my She-Ra Doll and even though the animation was terrible I loved both of these shows. thank you for sharing this. i would give anything to see these on the big screen or even the small screen but the way these reboots and theatrical releases for 80s cartoons have been going I am afraid they would just be horrible.

The fonts I used for the titles are Star Wars for He-Man and Gargoyles for She-Ra. I tried to find the official fonts or even a decent replication but couldn't, so I had to substitute.

*awestuck entirely* OH. GOD. This is MAJESTIC. I love hearing some of my favorite songs turned into orchestral pieces (one my favorites being InuYasha "Wind" Orchestra) but THIS...LORD. It's magnificent. My mind just stopped at 2:12 and just took in the beauty of She-Ra's theme. Gorgeous. Just gorgeous. -Peace, friends! ^-^

If they do another He-Man movie and the theme music doesn't sound like this...

I am so loving this, a new spin on the theme for my two favorite shows as a kid. I love it!

I don't comment very often on videos/clips/whatever. In fact, this'll make... 3. And this was excellent. The fact that I'm not hearing this on TV to advertise a new He-Man film is proof positive there is no justice in the world. Brilliant. Just brilliant.

OH! the hit me in the heart when they begun to play SHE-RA's theme. It is absolutely fantastic and very similar to the original and it is so uplifting. I like her theme more the He-man's. but indeed , i cant imagine what an atmoshpere would this music made if it would be played in a big hall with thousands of people!Love and Light from Serbia

@MaskedMan66 I thought all the Horde troops were robots, except for the officers. Could be wrong, though, since I do remember He-Man once taking one down and putting it's armor/shell on as a disguise, and it's unlikely it would have fit on him if it was built as part of a robot (his blonde hair hanging out from under the helmet gave him away, though).

Thx for this upload. I did not know the orchestral version till now. In the 80s me and my friends had almost everything of the He-Man toys. What a great time !

Oh now this version sounds so epic! Would do for a perfect tribute for He-Man. ... And yeah, why not She-Ra too.

Very well done redoing those themes in orchestra style...really brings out how the original compositions were masterpieces.

I truly hope that your versions of the classics prove to the film companies who are remaking them that: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." A great deal of nostaliga resides in the themes and therefore they should be kept but at the great level that you raise them to.

The original versions of these theme pieces are basically early 80's disco music and therefore don't go over too well with listeners today, but they had very good melodies. As long as a piece of music has a good melody, it will work very well in a classical composition.

I was stunned the first time I heard this full orchestral masterpiece.. it was just too good to be true, but its true.. and its hellfull of good too.. Thanks for the upload *smooches*

@GiantPantherTX Skeletor and Hordak respectively have their usual trusted henchman, which aren't that many, but they both also command huge numbers of robot troops as well as commoners who fight for them simply because they don't want their beloved village destroyed.

This version of the cartoon themes of He-Man & She-Ra is a masterpiece. After the success of the Barbie movie they need to do a really good version of these two super-hero cartoons. Its overdue to give everyone a truly epic He-Man movie that is a tribute the classic cartoon ! Why the delay ... all the elements in the story of He-Man would make a fantastic movie ... ! ❤❤❤
