The only thing I ever disliked about this series is that they never incorporated the original song. I mean the theme is as iconic as "By the power of Greyskull!"

Velius the only think I didn’t like in this series was he mans transformation it just wasn’t as thrilling to watch as the original

When I first watched it I had to get used to it a bit. I liked that Adam wore leather armor and not friggin pink/lavender spandex. Each version has their merits. Back in the 80s (esp if you bought the later boxed set) you learn that Mattel really was more into merchandising so those who wrote the stories really had to work hard to come up with something cohesive. This version, a storyline to follow was more acceptable it seems. I'm glad for it as following it was easier. The old ones had some good ones, like when He-man thought he killed a peasant, diamond ray of disappearance, and a few others. There were a lot of pretty cool music tracks as well.I was disappointed they didn't make more seasons of the new version. A lot of storyline we didn't touch. A revamped She-Ra was much needed (that version was very merchandised).

+Bane McDeath I have to agree, the same occurred to Thundercats, in the revamped version... But as to He-Man, it really deserved more seasons, and since Hordak has appeared, She-Ra should have at least a guest appearance, too... I didn't watch this revamped version, I have to be honest, I am watching some clips from here, and well... It's sad this one didn't have more episodes and well... The theme song is something that must be called an epic masterpiece, its "heroic strings-and-horns"...

Yeah, the music. When I first got ahold of the internet back in the late 90s I looked up the music of various types and naturally the ending theme song. Both versions have some pros and cons but more pros since I was a huge fan. I didn't collect everything and my physical collection sort of fell apart (I donated it to a child last year who was collecting old MOTU toys to play with). Actually, my collection was in such bad shape I felt ashamed to even give it away as it seems parrots got into the collection as well as some rabbits/mice and sort of just turned it into a bunch of amputees. Dust, and ugh... total nightmare from my memories.Of the old music (from both He-man & She-Ra) there are pieces that I just can't find in their entirety. Pieces like the attack track or when there's urgency heading towards battle or a destination or even some of the fright zone and pieces from Secret of the Sword.I should relook into all the music from all series (well maybe not that Space He-man series). I enjoy it when someone remasters with the proper instruments into a clean and clear performance. The same is said for various video games. I must have like a dozen or more mp3s of Commando alone.

Yeah, I haven't watched CN in a long while. I heard it was huge blocks of teen titans go. Cancelling this, the reboot of Thunder Cats and not making a decent Shera or other toons for the nostalgia fans sucks. Lots of lazy animation and such these days. Once in a while a gem pops up. As long as blueray and dvds are around i'll be happy to own copies. Old media is a savior when digital is lost due to server wipes or errors.

There was some DC comics about this. Superman is very vulnerable to magic and skeletor controlled superman's mind to battle and kill he-man. Problem is the power sword is magical and as a possessed being Superman wasn't thinking right. I can't recall how it ended.... probably the brain wash was defeated and they teamed up.

Swamp Fire Productions There was an actual crossover between those two. Due to Superman's vulnerability to magic Skeletor controled Superman and made him attack He Man. He Man was able to knock Superman on the ground and when they started exchanging blows He Man was able to punch him in the head but Superman wasn't bothered and knocked He Man down. There was another crossover when they fought again but the fight was bogus since He Man wasn't fighting real Superman but a magic clone which was created to be a sacrifice.
