Love the Walker Farm family. I didn’t realize Herc came from there. He is such a great guardian and so lovable. He and Bruno are going to be quite the pair when Bruno gets a little older. I imagine Herc taking him under his wing so to speak and saying, “just watch me boy and you’ll do just fine” ❤

One quick thing to help Bruno: One syllable commands. Come, No, Stay, Down, Leave it. exc. will help him distinguish what you are asking. He has a 2 syllable name. so 1 syllable commands will also help with the consistent delivery you are seeking

I think Herc did good with Bruno!! Bruno is learning with all the goats & Herc at the same time. One against 12 is a lil overwhelming for Bruno & he is doing good with what THEY are teaching him & Bruno is listening to what they are saying. I think in a few more weeks all of them will be fine. Totally respect that You & Shanon want to let Grandma & Grandpa Doss tell us what is going on, IT is their story & their life to tell all of us. I will continue my Prayers for her & the rest of the family because this involves the whole family. So many Prayers ent out for Ya'll!! I do Pray Grandma Doss is doing well & on her way to a "Speedy Recovery"!! Love & hugs to Ya'll....God Bless The Doss Families

Great job with Herc and Bruno, really made me nervous for a minute, and loved how Herc respected Kyle and pulled it back and did not go to far.... Way to go guys. A live stock guardian dog is different then family dogs when they are on duty. Love watching your video's.

One thing you can try in the goat pen….diatomaceous earth pellets. They absorb water, deter insects and eliminate odor. You can get it in 50lb bags.

What about wood pellets? Wouldnt they be sustancially cheaper? I didnt even know DE came in pellets!

@@suebee1436 Wood pellets may be less expensive, but the DE also neutralizes odor and is a natural bug repellent. It’s also a nutritional supplement in cattle feed, and would not harm the goats. It has many more benefits than wood pellets. It’s the main ingredient in commercial floor absorbants because of its ability to absorb a multitude of fluids and it is bio friendly. I am certainly not a know it all expert, just a suggestion from my own experience. I also use it as an abrasive medium in removing slate rock from fossil bones (as well as baking soda).

Great video! I enjoyed seeing the dogs interact and the goats enjoying their freedom to roam a bit too! Bruno is so cute! And Herc. is a great guard dog and tolerates Bruno well around the goats he protects! He puts him in his place because that's what the alpha dog should do. Nice bonfire too! I see nice marshmallow coals at the end of the burnout! Shannon, you are such a sweetheart as is Kyle too! You and Kyle work well together! 🧑‍🌾👨‍🌾 All the best!

I still remember the day that Blue jumped up on the propane tank. You guys were so surprised! Bruno & Herc: You could tell Herc wasn't out to hurt Bruno, only putting him in his place. They are getting closer to having a relationship, may never be like the one with Nahla but some kind of relationship. Your mom is still in my prayers along with the rest of the family. I know God is with her all the way. ❤🙏 Great video guys! Oh! Several times during the video I saw goats going into the guinea pen. Don't know if you saw them or not. lol! Once you get the new goat pen up, you may want to consider planting a quick growing cover crop in the original pen while you are still in the rainy season. It's a muddy mess now, but this summer it will be a dust bowl. The rocky ground will be good not only to control the mud, but it also helps maintain the goats hoofs.

A rocky area is also a plus when it comes to hoof care. It will naturally keep their hooves trimmed so you'd have to trim less often. Possibly not at all. A win win. ❤

It was so bitter sweet watching Bruno trying so hard to make friends with Herc. When weegie caught his attention, he definitely must have thought he had a Herc that wanted to play, then Herc happened back in the picture and it was totally different. Herc should have been given a chance, to be with Bruno, the FIRST DAY,he came to the farm. They should SCREAM at Herc, not Bruno,when HERC IS AGGRESSIVE !! KYLE JUST CUT THE ALPHA CRAP !!😫😩🤢🥴....The property looks so much better,when all the junky stuff is 🔥 burnt ,and the tall grass is mowed.100 percent better ! 😲

I think that Herc has to accept Bruno as part of the family,Herc is there to guard the goats isn't he,not OWN AND CONTROL BRUNO 😂😂😂😂😂I feel a bit sorry for Bruno,he is thinking how come Herc is the fave??much as I love Herc he should not be allowed to stand over Bruno ...Bruno is imo going to be a much bigger dog than Herc when he is fully grown and he will only be stood over for so long.I think he is amazing for such a young young puppy,most dogs would have had a guinea dinner by now.❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂

If I was there, I'd have camp meat packets with diced potatoes, hamburger, onions, butter, and salt and pepper double wrapped in foil on the outer ashes of that fire so that supper is ready when you are! Yum😊❤
