Dude I get it's probably weird hearing it from a 40 year old but I really appreciate how you younger guys are doing this. His curls were beautiful but now he looks so much more cleaner. My son went to barber school last summer & now cutting friends hair at home, on the side. I’ve seen so much improvement in his cuts. Great job!

Clean work. You should try a 6 n half -7 inch shear. They changed my life. I make less passes and I cns cut sections in one or 2 snips at the most. Very efficient cutting bulk with longer shears. I might even get me some 8s
I think the cut was GREAT. But I liked him (and I cannot believe I’m saying this) with long hair. His curls are beautiful and it “fits him.” It’s sexy. But I would say 95% of the time, I’m more into a guy who has a great style (short as opposed to long). Just generally speaking.
He is a good looking young man with amazing hair. When he first came in with that little bang thing in front, I didn’t know what the barber was going to be able to do. I think his haircut looks good, but he still got that little bang thing going on that I hate I think it’ll be great when his hair grows up and is a little longer. He is so good looking the barber did a good job though. I would just like it longer.
I’ve been watching your videos for a little bit, and I have noticed that you don’t do a lot of side parts when you have straighter hair clients. Are side parts out of style, or are the cuts too basic for good content? I live and work in the oilfield so the sense of style is quite different than Philly.
Those mini bangs with the long hair looked ridiculous. You evened him up, but overall I think he looks better with longer hair, especially since he has those beautiful curls. He needs to trim up his scraggly beard also. Maybe opt for a shadow look or just clean cut, IMHO.
