I like the auction idea. Maybe next time have Silas run the auction. Have Connor join the bidding. Also, increase the discs to 15. Make it clear how many disc types there are ( something like 3 putt / approach, 7 drivers, and 4 midrange). Then, it incentivizes intrigue. If the players know there are 3 putters, maybe they bid on two so someone doesn’t have a b putter all round. Maybe one of the putters isn’t ideal like a berg.
I love the H3V2, its not that flippy at all for me unless i truly unleash my lifeforce into it. Usually when this happens and they use a random disc i love they end up absolutely hating it so im expecting that to happen. Its my go to control driver. Doesnt quite go as far as other discs of a similar speed but is reliable and easier to throw.
You should do a split or steal challenge on the tee shots. You have a disc thats perfect for the hole and a disc that is the worst for the hole. Before the tee shot, you decide if you want to split or steal the good disc. If you both pick steal, then you both have to throw the bad disc, if you both pick split - you both get the good disc. If one picks split and the other picks steal then the one who stole gets the good disc and the other gets the bad. As long as someone doesnt get in the lead and repeatedly pick steal then it would be a fun video.
I think this would be most fun with a group of 4, each hole everyone would get a different partner to split or steal with. This means if you and someone else were both behind you could split to try and come back together but if you're behind and your partner is a head you have to choose between screwing them over and trying to get back in the pack.
What if instead, you have a $1000 and you have to pay a set price to use a certain disc for each singular throw. So a buzz may cost $75 dollars to throw where a tilt may only cost $10. And the goal to the game is to end with the most money left. I think it would be interesting to see the strategy on this.
$15 build your disc lineup is a MUST. $5 for good discs like the Zone, $1 for bad discs like the stego per category $15 to build a bag consisting of a putter, approach, mid, fairway & driver
The auction idea was good. I'd love to see you throw Silas in the auction too so he can bid up discs or potentially outbid you to take away a disc one of you really wanted.
They should do a bag building challenge as a memory game. A grid system of 12 disc numbered 1-12. They have 15 seconds to look at what they have to choose from. After times up they choose alternating between them by picking a number.
Each player should be able to submit discs into the draft that the other doesn’t know about until bidding begins. Gives something to hold out for if you know a certain disc is still coming.
Video idea. “This or That” Do 2 people (Trevor and Hunter) faces away from Konnor. Konnor gets to grab a disc from a preset lineup of random discs. Konnor has a disc in each hand and Hunter says which hand to swap from the lineup. So Hunter says left, Konnor gets rid of the left hand and gets a new disc. Hunter would say left or right and keep going. Whenever the third person (Trevor) wants, he can say one of those hands. Whenever he says one, he gets that handed disc for his bag and Hunter gets the other disc added to his. After Trevor declared a stop hand, the roles swap and Trevor gets to veto a random hand as much as he wants then Hunter would declare what hand was added to his bag. Trevor would get the other hand. After both discs are handed out, Konnor picks up new discs for each hand and it keeps going. Konnor could even get a swap discs power. What this is, after Trevor declared he wanted the left hand and Hunter gets the right hand; Konnor could pull out that Uno reverse and Trevor would get the right hand and Hunter the left. Keep doing this until a few 4 or 5 discs and do a video with that bag. You could do any type of disc game while out throwing. This was just a suggestion for a random “this or that” style. An option to fit the random hand part, they could be out on the course and before every throw, the player would hold a disc in each hand and the other one would say a random hand and that’s the disc the first person uses. Example; tee of 1, Trevor has a random disc in each hand, Hunter would say left and that’s the disc Trevor uses for the first tee. The other disc goes back in the bag. This happens every shot. It brings a bunch of randomness into it.
If there is a second iteration of this challenge the auction should only allow bids of a certain incriminate. That way someone can’t just add $5 to the others bid and keep the spirit of the game alive
Alternate disc doubles. Player A throws Player B throws Player A throws from player B's disc Player B throws from player A's disc. Repeat until both are in the basket. Score is the sum of strokes.
How well do you know your homeboys game. Trever picks for hunter and vise versa. Connor sets the line. Object of the game is you want to put the best discs in each others hands. Just stuff you know they throw well or something you think they might kill with. If the disc selected would make your bag the person who picked it gets a stroke off there final score
Bag swap, but you each get 1 swap on the tee box. So Hunter steps up to throw the Compass... Trev says "no sir, you you will throw my Warrant". Might be fun.
I think a blind auction where only a tiny bit of information is offered like one disc the manufacturer, one a few of the flight numbers or something like that
Have y'all done a video where whomever gets a birdie has to play from long tees, whomever gets a par plays from middle tees, and whomever gets a bogey plays from short tees? Could be a good old time
I like the auction style but think it would have been interesting with a lower amount to start like $50. Then the bids would be closer to realistic disc prices and bidding would be much closer and more stressful.
Next draft do an auction, except have someone bid who isn't playing that can take the discs away permanently if they have the winning bid, so Hunter and Trevor have to spend more money.
I think when two face flips the coin for live or die he's using a real coin, the double sided coin was what Harvey had before but he started using a real coin when he went baddie
