Varun secured admit offers from some of the best MBA programs in the world - INSEAD, Indian School of Business and IIM Ahmedabad. We caught up with him to learn more about his application journey.
Varun completed his bachelor's in engineering from BITS Dubai, and then pursued a masters from the University of Michigan in the US. However, soon after, he returned to India to work with a new arm of Deloitte, where he spent his next 8 years, moving from a core financial role towards data and analytics.
After working with diverse clients, he decided to apply for an MBA to move to the strategy side of things. Donning multiple hats within Deloitte, where his roles were slightly bit technical as well, he wanted to explore the business aspects, and how data and analytics could be leveraged towards building business strategies.
Varun reached out to us for help with his applications for Indian business schools initially, but as he tasted success, he decided to take a shot at INSEAD as well, one of the most well-known and competitive MBA programs in the world. As we helped him streamline his stories, distilling the key building blocks of his experiences, he was able to convert those discussions into strong applications by providing a peak into his life, career and aspirations.
