The reason it’s a recommended order is that their are Easter eggs from older songs that you will miss if you haven’t heard them yet. That being said you can enjoy his music in any order so do your own thing. This song was an assignment when he was in therapy after he had a breakdown. He turned the assignment into this song. Brilliant

No he definitely came up with it and his friend Tommee the producer. I know the agent that discovered him (Radar agency) and I promise you Nate has his hands in every part of his production (Lyrics, theme, sound, editing, videography, everything) he is a FULL STACK ARTIST! Since his album Mansion he basically created his own NF Cinematic Universe (intro 1 is connected all the way to the CLOUDS mixtape)

I love NF and Tom Macdonald, because they call out their own weaknesses and pasts in their music. Making them more relatable as human beings. But also, it makes them stronger by not fronting like all the faker artists. Great review brah!

Always gotta love the NF reactions! Like how you’re doing the NF journey how you want instead of just doing what others say. Not everyone has to do it in order to be able to enjoy the music. You’re just taking what others think are the good songs and listening to them. And if you’re doing that I’d recommend Just Like you, drifting, and basically any and all songs on “The Search” album(cause there’s honestly not a singular song I don’t like on the album). If not though just watch whatever you feel like. Either way it’s gonna be a good reaction

When I first heard NF he just released his Perception album. I started there and then went back to listen to the rest of “The Journey,” and I appreciated going back and seeing how he had developed as a rapper over time. I don’t think it matters where you start “The Journey.” Kind of like you mentioned in the video, we all start in different places in life, and that’s what makes it so unique and special to each of us. The background is an old recording from his childhood of a family gathering... I think his birthday or something. I too always ignored NF and one day I decided to watch a reaction channel that had NF... first song I ever heard was Mansion I was in tears because I related to it so much. Second song was How Could You Leave Us? and I lost it, I lost my mother in a very similar way. After that I started to really listen to his music and was hooked. He is soooo good and sooo detailed. He is an unusual talent. I will always listen to and buy his music.
