I can't find words strong enough to say how out of this world gorgeous he is. I have fallen in love with him. I hope he has gone on to have a wonderful life, he deserves it! I will never forget that face!

I am sooooo JEALOUS! Ever since I was a little girl (on the Canadian east coast) I have adored bats. I first became aware of them at 5 years of age. My parents had purchased lake-front property, and I would sit by the waters edge and watch them every evening. My fave was to take the canoe out on the lake at dusk when the bats would start to fly. They would skim along the water’s edge and then zoom over us and continue on at the water’s edge on the other side of the canoe. When they flew over us, they were an inch away at the most; close enough that you felt the breeze as they zoomed by. 😍😍🇨🇦

I didn't realize bats will feed from your hummingbird feeders at night I always made sure my feeders were full at night to feed them I also hung fruit like oranges and watermelon to feed them at night. I just adore these very useful animals! My husband built bat houses and placed them around in different places for them to keep them safe.
