are you creasing at peoples comments about taking cake to the event? I'm type one too and if anything i am over the moon that they went to an event that brings awareness to diabetes, especially for children with type 1. If i was at the event I would of bought some and had a dose of insulin with it! haha!

honestly sometimes when somebody says diabetes it reminds me of my grandfather he had diabetes but still managed to always be there for me. he passed away to a car accident 5 years ago i still miss him

I was tested for diabtetes.... I was lucky i don't have them because if i did they said i would have type1 but i was so lucky I didn't because i would have to spend a lot of time out of school and i love my school and i have lots a friends.... Being out of school for a few days would be the least of your worries if you actually had diabetes!! Oh my word that's not the worst bit about having a chronic disease, which is SO complicated and delicate to manage so you feel ok (and not feeling tired, shaky, fainting, weak), which includes hospital visits, injections, blood tests, a shorter life expectancy, difficulty managing exercise, many health check-ups and complications, difficulty if you get even a common cold....for your entire life! (Forever - no cure yet...) Haha anyway I have T1 if you hadn't guessed 😂 I am happy for you that you don't have T1 though :)

Thankyou so much for spending time doing that for Type 1 Diabetes. I was diagnosed when I was 10 and it really has changed my life. It's not always easy having to take shots, test blood sugars, and having an insulin pump. I want to let you know that the support means the world to me and that you made my day!:) thank you so much

Great cause. My brother has type 1 diabetes and every day I have to see him take insulin and do blood tests. It's shocking for them and he struggles so much especially being a teenager and trying to handle it. Let's hope with everyone's support they find a cure!

Voldemort nose was cgi animation! They technically used a tiny green screen on the actors nose ( I can't think of the actors name to save my life right now) and then in post production they put the classic Voldemort nose on top of the green screen! Nick Dudman did an incredible job of the SFX makeup and character design!

My dad has Type 1 Diabetes and it's horrible to live with it, I know he's obviously not a child haha but it's still horrible, he's also in hospital and has just been diagnosed with heart failure, it's shattered my life into a million pieces. No one deserves to have to go through this, not even me, your the only thing I wake up in the morning for Alfie! I love you millions💞💞

This made me so happy that you'= wen to that event o raise T1 Diabetes awareness because I have been T1 Diabetic for 4 years now and it annoys me so much that so many people think they know everything about it when they actually know nothing about it! Living with Diabetes is a lot more work than it may seem and also a lot of people don't know the difference between T1 and T2 either.. Anyway, Love you Alf xD

My weekend was fun, and rather out of the ordinary! My parents took my brother, sister and I to the mall, and we spent almost all day there shopping for clothes for my brother (but let's be honest, my sister & I got some stuff as well). We crashed and watched a movie (or film as you would say 😜) when we got home. Sunday I spent binge watching RU-vid…nothing unusual there! 😂

can I just say a really big thank you for the diabetes event recently my baby brother was diagnosed with the diseise at age 3 and he is now 4 and doesn't understand why he has to have injections or finish everything in his plate even sometimes starts crying and says why can't I be normal we don't know what to say but tell him it's all going to be ok so once again thank you people like you can help make a difference and you should be very very proud xx

As someone who grew up in rural America (Wisconsin), I find it so funny seeing Alfie and Sean wearing Carhartt brand clothing in a "trendy" way. Where I grew up Carhartt was what men wore for hunting and farming or blue collar type work. It's like the opposite of trendy haha. I do like the teal shirt though!
