The much anticipated day has finally arrived! We're heading down to Anchorage, Alaska to pick up Parker's best friend Kellen! Taking you along for the ride + our first day at the cabin with the boys! Sharing this Alaskan life with Kellen as he sleds in the snow for the very first time!!! Then we're having a little fun with our two Belgian Malinois pups, Bradley & Gunner! Kellen is a cutie. His mom did a very unselfish thing, knowing she wasn't in a good place to raise him, that is very brave. It is a very brave and unselfish thing you all are doing as well. Tina, by the time I got to the end of the video I was in tears. I wasn’t expecting Kallen to be a black child, I couldn’t imagine how hard that was for his mom to let him come clean across the country to stay with your family. She really trusts as well as thinks a lot about you and your husband. How beautiful it was to see them outside playing in the snow. This year is going to be the best time in that fellas life. Thank you for sharing and being so raw and real. My husband is so wonderful and I have watched him as he has grown older. This past year, I have felt like he was gone as he had lost hope and was dying in front of my eyes. Jesus reminded me to stand on faith and start speaking what I wanted over my husband. I did and over the series of the past few weeks I have watched him transform. His hope is back, his mind is back, his body is back and he smiles again. God is so good and in my desperation he showed me what to do to help my husband come back to life. Love you guys and thank you again for sharing such an important part of your lives with us.

Welcome to the homestead Kellen!!! The expression on his precious face when he ran to hug Parker❤️❤️❤️❤️. Preach it girl. You’re foundation in God is solid and only you and Joe need to answer to Him. But please be careful lifting things with your neck issues. Inhad a injury over 20 years ago and after years of chiropractic visits and physical therapy ended up having surgery and a cervical fusion on the 14. After years of issues yes the surgery was much needed. Not saying you’re ever going to need it but just praying for covering when you have to to the heavy chores on your homestead. Y'all just amaze me as a family & being so real. My heart breaks for Kallens mom but it also melts cuz shes doing what she thinks is best for him. This is what good moms do. Puts their kids well being before their own. God bless her heart & God bless y'all for taking him in. & Cindy Loo you look all cute grown up. Lol! Joe in them shorts freezes me to death. Brrrrr. & I could watch y'alls dogs play all day. ❤

Congratulations. You now have 2 boys, Parker has a brother, and joe... He still has a never ending job of keeping all the equipment running so he can continue to combat the Alaska elements. And the dogs and the kittens, well they are the real winners. They's got everything and more. 😁

i haven't finished watching the video yet, but as I listen to your story of Kellen my screen keeps going blurry. God bless you for taking on this great story, and God bless the Mom for doing the hardest thing on earth that she has probably ever had to do, and regardless of what leads one to make these decisions, hers was obviously the most responsible one a Mom could make for her son, God bless her as he watches over her and leads her to a path that she riotously deserves as in the end, Kellen will have a great future now, be it with your family or his natrual family. Kellens mom will be in our prayers.
