Its heartbreaking...especially for the children. Either way you look at it, from those two perspectives, its a grim situation. I can only hope the first one, who wanted SO BADLY to be her father, but wasn't, kept his word that his devotion to this child would remain, despite the fact that they don't share blood. And if there WAS so much doubt in the second case, WHY WAIT 33 years to learn the truth? Especially when this beautiful woman wants a father in her life so badly. He spent 33 years NOT being in her life, due to the doubt. Will he be a more devoted father for her, now that this truth has come to light. Because I think that would be EVEN MORE heartbreaking for her....knowing that he really is her father and he STILL doesn't want to be in her life. And he even said that he had a choice to make, that day at the hospital. His girlfriend had just had their son....and Ms. Cherry's mother had just had his daughter. And even though MULTIPLE PEOPLE were congratulating him on the birth of his DAUGHTER....when it came down to it, he CHOSE to go to his girlfriend and her son. He denied his daughter once. He continued denying that she was his daughter for the past 33 years...DESPITE already being told this is his daughter when she was born. Had their been a doubt at that time on the paternity of the daughter, he could have done a paternity test and confirmed his bond with her then. He just didn't want a daughter...he would rather have a son. He even ADMITS this when Judge Lake made that point. He's so busy listening to gossip on the streets, and not finding the truth FOR HIMSELF on whether she was his daughter or not, so when the streets told him he wasn't the father, rather than CONFIRM THE TRUTH with a paternity test, he says "I have my son. I don't want to be bothered with this other daughter. I choose my son. and he just let it be assumed that he wasn't the daughter's father even though HE WAS. Careful Mr. Johnson...if you deny her one more time, you are no better than Peter when he denied Christ three times. In my opinion, the best predictor of future behavior is relevant past behavior. And while his hug was a nice gesture, NOTHING ELSE he has done has indicated his desire to be her father. EVEN WHEN the paternity test was offered to him MULTIPLE TIMES, he still didn't do it. It took the daughter bringing him all the way to court. If we are looking at which man is truly a FATHER, I would say the first man is the better father, even though he didn't share blood with his child...at least he WANTED her and his love was reflected in his actions. Unlike the father who DID share DNA with his daughter.

He should've never gotten involved with a woman who is already involved with someone else They're both liars, and the only innocent one is the baby. I feel sorry for the baby.

Was just coming to here to say that like I've seen this case a many of time and for some reason I overlooked that fact each time till this one. That means it is definitely someone related to him. Momma got around.

@@shadowkissed2370 she mentioned she did one of the genealogy test and it showed she related to someone in his family. If he’s not her father it stands to reason someone in his family is.

I agree though, and it depends on how many cMs she shared with whoever in his family that she connected to.
