the first scene where Scott looks around at Johnny and Johnny has this grin on his face you know it was gonna be good. Also when Scott is giving Johnny advice in the saloon and gets up to shake his hand and Johnny gives him that grin again. Great chemistry between these two actors. May they both be having a great time in heaven.
Rediscovered Lancer and oh how I miss these two actors. Taking their relationship seriously after having not known each other for twenty something years. They have to touch each other by hitting one or the other in the arm etc. They have grown so close, making up for lost time, best friends and brothers Love and miss James and Wayne.
I love this clip. Excellent job. As a kid I never paid close attention to how all the characters interacted with each other. I just ogled Johnny. As an adult, I see this show through new eyes. It's the little things that move you, that's missing from other shows. Kudos to all.
I don't picture a director telling them to do those little hugs and other bits of stage business like Johnny playfully pulling Scott's tie ... I'll bet a lot of it was just improvised by two fine actors who had a natural chemistry and affection for each other and really worked at developing their characters through other means than just spoken dialogue.
It's been a very long time since I saw Lancer (I adored Stacy) and am so glad that now I can see em on RU-vid...this vid is so nicely done to a great song....thanks for posting.
I love this video, no one can watch it without smiling from ear to ear. Every scene is a favorite especially 2:35 where Johnny and Scott are laughing at a secret joke! Lancer was a wonderful journey watching two strangers from different backgrounds become brothers, best friends and buddies. It brings back so many memories, but it is touchingly timeless, still fresh and relevant today.
I love the open affection between the brothers and the way Johnny puts his arm around Scott's shoulders. My fav scene is where Scott is in bed after he's been shot and Johnny brings him the soup. Scott drinks out of the bowl, then Johnny does likewise. Johnny's open affection for Scott and the way he shows it is beautiful.
Great video and the song was perfect. Used to sing it to my daughters when I was pregnant with their brother Love these two together. Just wish ole Murdoch would have loosened up a bit more with the ‘boys’ and shown them that he really did care about them Lancer lives on!

Honestly 1:32 says to me they developed a great friendship and the various moments of these clips are beyond what the director is telling them to do. They truly act like brothers Wonderful Video the song puts it over the top. Thank you. Side Note I Wish Quentin Tarantino could see this

It's pretty hard to watch this - those beautiful young men and this song, makes me too emotional! I believe the two actors are still close - they certainly were wonderful in this series. Thanks for this, and for making my heart ache!
I loved this video but it made me sad in a way. I love James Stacy and Wayne Maunder. This was so long ago and it seems like yesterday. It made me so nostalgic. And I agree with everyone who said that it seems like they have such a good rapport with each other. And I just hate what happened to James Stacy later in the accident.
My heart sings out to you. This video was well done and the song rides through each scene you used in a breathtaking and wondrous journey with the boys. Love it and I smile every time I watch it. I have thought that "Johnny Get Angry" by Joanie Sommers would be a good song to put to a video to on this wedsite. "Johnny Angel" would be another one. I like both of those songs. I always thought that both Scott and Johnny were both very handsome, but Johnny (James Stacy) was always my favorite. I always picture him as having a kind heart. I just wish the series had lasted a little longer. I felt so sorry for him when he got hurt in that accident. I don't think he would have ever gotten into trouble if he had never been hurt and if the series had of lasted.

Never saw this series when it was on; dunno why but have discovered Johnny and his family through your vids on here and love him/them! Why, oh why aren't the dvds available?
