I love seeing dogs sleeping so soundly. I take it as a sign that they're so peaceful, safe and content. They have no worries and know they're loved/safe.
Dogs and humans have a totally different body type and us humans wouldn't be uncomfortable but dogs sleep in weird positions and are comfortable in those weird positions 😐

@@BenNispel A year late, but youtube reccomended this to me. Sometimes the algorithm is weird like that. For example, it'll suddenly reccomend a video to everyone at the same time nine years later of the posting date.
He is so damn adorable! Forget the fact that I'm almost a 41 year old tough guy who's numb to many things, but when it comes to dogs I revert back to being a tender hearted boy. I guess the relationship with man's best friend will always help us to maintain that innocent side of ourselves.
The Basset Hound is so laid back and chilled, even after the other dog putting his paw on his eye and being pestered like that. Lovely to see two dogs getting along so nicely though, sign of a good carer and home.
Ben Nispel - I think you did the right thing: pet the dog just to let him know that you would like him to greet the day. He understands. He just feels comfy and will get up eventually.
There are actually people out there that are incapable of love. Just angry at the world to the point that not even these heart-warming dogs don't affect them.
Phil Bailey After being horribly hurt by getting hit by a car, a basset hound puppy named Rappunzel ( Bonehead) gave me a reason to get up every morning. I have had three more since ( Petunia, Peanut and Oreo). I loved every one of them and truly miss them. I hope to have another one this spring. God bless🤓.

Be not afraid, that is just the zen of the basset hound. They will sleep until either the call of nature urges them from their place of rest or breakfast is being served.
