Mrs. Donna, I pray for our children every morning and night. My Granddaughter is a cheerleader and is a senior. So many young teenagers that she knows has been a part of gun violence. One young man was a football player but was shot and is paralyzed and others have lost their lives. Some of these kids she knew in elementary school. Just yesterday, a 15 was shot and killed by a 20 year old. The child was getting off the school bus. Mrs. Donna it’s sad. Continue to left everyone up in prayer. I like the way you talk to us as if we are in the room. It’s just so real.

I also have a plant like that where my neighbor gave to me when my mother passed about 20 years ago. I have repotted mine several times and pull it apart and made several pots. Always lived ever time I repotted it and still doing good.

Hello, Mrs. Donna, Peace lilies grow best in soft water, such as rainwater or distilled water. Coffee grounds can provide nutrients for peace lilies and add acidity to the soil, which they prefer. You can use coffee grounds as compost or liquid fertilizer. My mom used Banana Water whenever she would put a flower in water. Banana water is rich in potassium, which can help a peace lily thrive. To make banana water, soak a banana peel for up to a week, then dilute the water with fresh water before watering the plant.

Donna, I have a Peace Lily that’s 35 years old. It was given to me when my youngest sister passed way. She’s named after my sister, Krystal. I only water her when she starts to droop. Once a year I may add a Jobe fertilizer or to. I believe plenty of love and conversation has kept Krystal alive.

Those are beautiful, Ms. Donna. I have my peace lilies in soil and water also. For some reason, I have luscious leaves but no blooms. Check the size of the white planter to make sure it isn't too big.

Ms Donna the performance miracle grow potting soil has a slow release fertilizer. Also, you can put peroxide if you like. We keep ours with regular tap water, because the water will evaporate we check the levels every 3 days and add water if needed, water changed every 5-7 days, and the water goes above the root. Be careful the roots will start wrapping themselves with the rocks or marbles. Almost forget, indirect sunlight. Too much sunlight will warm up the water.

Hey errybody

Actually, peace lilies love humidity, so the bathroom would be a good place for them. They also love acidic soil, which the coffee grounds add acidity along with other nutrients. I live up north, in a colder climate...and would need to bring them in in the winter...and being out in the sun isn't a requirement for that plant (although they will flower more in the sun)...so the bathroom or another humid area, would be more than enough for them.
