I went into a bank wearing a ski mask and waving a gun around. I walked up to the first teller I saw and handed her a bag. I told her that this was not a robbery and she shouldn’t give me any money. She was so _stupid_ that she gave me the money that I told her not to give me. I was later arrested. Joke’s on everyone else, because I cannot believe wait to tell my lawyer that I told them I was not robbing them. I told them! Oh, and even though this isn’t important to mention, I was given a chance to return the money to prove I never intended to rob the bank and I said nah. I’m sick. *cough cough*

Totally disagree with your take. Laws are there to protect those who can't always defend themselves, like seniors who often get scammed. Saying they're regarded and deserve it ignores the need for laws to protect everyone, no matter what.
Take it as a life lesson. People like boogie are very rarely as good as they fool people into believing that they are. There are some examples of truly good wholesome people like Fred Rogers but they are the exception and the general expectation is when someone is trying really hard to seem wholesome the usually are quiet the opposite.
