I was most impressed with the composure of Sawyer and his ability to take what the defense was giving him rather than trying to force it into coverage. Stick with Sawyer and put in some designed runs with lead blockers to take advantage of his running style. Sic 'em!
I was at Baylor until Dec. 2019, but I don't remember anything about a frat getting in trouble for for singing a long with an explicit song. I didn't even know what "Mo Bamba" was until I looked it up (oh, *that* song). TBF, I had zero involvement with Greek life. As for them playing it at McLane, I guess they figured that any students who remember that incident have since graduated, so they can now bring it back into the mix
I think the decision to start Finn was at least partially based on the fact that the O-line was suspect and his running ability could keep drives alive. Offense clearly better with Sawyer. Has to be his job until he falters.
@Jim-f9w I totally agree with you. I thought they were starting Finn because of his scrambling ability and concerns about the OL in summer camp. But Finn didn't show poise in the pocket and made some mistakes. Then, Robertson steps in and shows a lot of composure in the pocket and a willingness to take what the defense gives him instead of trying to force throws into coverage. Stick with Sawyer. And put in some designed runs to take advantage of his running abilities! Sic 'em!
Well, there we go! FINALLY! The talent is there, get them motivated and going! We were there at the game and it was fun to watch the coaches on the sidelines... So, can they head to Dallas and do the same for the Cowboys??
I think the next game will be more of an indicator of how the season will go. My text chat with my buddies was exactly how you were talking Cam(1st half vs 2nd half). They have to be able to go into CU and not crumble early for the season to be >.500
Assuming Dequan is healthy you give him the start with a shorter leash. Of course i again didn’t want to let go of guy Morris so take my opinion with a grain of salt
@@Shrike1988 and how do you know whether Aranda has disciplined his guys on ball control? Have you been at all their practices or are you just speculating? Also, this is Power 5 college football, you don’t need your coach to tell you to hold on to the ball…
@@Vareciaa the team played terribly in the first half. Beyond just the fumbles. Your logic is nonsensical, by your dumb logic I could say "This is power 5 football, you don't need your coach to tell you TO SCORE TOUCHDOWNS" and the coaches have no responsibility whatsoever. What do think coaches do? Stop defending Dave for no reason. He's not a good head coach. But he seems like a nice guy.
