I think your family has a responsibility to tell you the truth about things like singing. If your kid, husband, wife, etc.. can’t sing, be honest and let them know. Too many people get told by their friends that you have a great voice, and then they go on believing it for the rest of their life. Maybe it’s done out of love, initially, but it’s actually kind of mean.
