This is basically the mangaka saying the isekai formula got stale and even the NPCs are getting sick of constant "suprises" and "herculean feats of might". It's gotten to a point where a protagonist with garbage stats, no special tricks or familiars who wants to die is a more interesting character.

Closest thing in theme i know is - "im definetly not evil gods lackey" or something like that - guy isekaied with all the earth books, makes terapy talk than sels them books, books contain godly powers but he doesnt realize it over all giod comedy but shallow world and characters 5/10 (Beter read Lord of the Mysteries symilar in concept but masterclass writing )
