I appreciate it, Ludwig's editors cut out most of the games except Battleship in order to cramp the whole session into a single video. They cut most of the fun stuff to focus on the narrative of the whole session. If the VoD is a book then Ludwig's editor turned it into a movie recap instead of just a movie.

It's since this was part of Ludwig's Bro vs. Bro, so for Lud it was planned as one vid. Toast planned to make content out of each round. Either way pretty solid cuz Lud plans a ton of stuff all the time. Toast can either take it easy on finding content or make more for later

This is a good example of the Einstellung effect. Toast played through so much escape room puzzles that he subjects simple puzzles through the same complicated process that he uses for difficult puzzles.

My first thought of Ludwig is a right brainer because he himself said he is an English Major. Now I'm realizing he a left brainer with an above average gaming skills. He literally is the jack of all trades when it comes to games. He can compete with Toast and Sykkuno in everyway.

You know i never realized the hilarious chemistry of watching Ludwig and Toast compete and now i crave more lol. Also technically toast did win by ludwigs "room" rules. The video has 5 rooms (cell, hallway, security, med 1 and 2) toast got the cell win, lud got hallways and guard (so if it was 2/3 he would be winner) but thanks to giving toast a chance toast sweeps both med rooms and takes it 3-2. WOOOOO PUZZLE GUY!!!!

This is why I actually started playing puzzle or escape room games with a friend. They usually are super helpful if you get stuck on one puzzle. You can get super stumped. My dad and I did what was supposed to be an "easy" Christmas card one and we clocked about 4 hours on it. There was literally 4 parts and a cryptic to solve at the end. (I bought him the intro to an ongoing yearly subscription of escape rooms for us to work on together.)

And then Ludwig 100% incriminated himself by saying the “word on the street is that you’re done” as soon as Toast finished that puzzle just because chat was saying that Toast was done even when he wasn’t fully finished. And if he was looking at chat to see that message then he also would have seen the thousands of answers that people were spamming. So even if he had beaten toast it would have been tainted by the fact that chat was helping him the entire time 😂

Fun Theory: The black & white bottle puzzle is probably based off of a board game I had where there were two players, one made a code behind a wall, and the other guessed with colorful pins. With each guess, the first player had to answer how many were correct, and how many were in the wrong position. Wordle may have been a copy of this board game.

Well, technically lud was ahead(by a good margin) before entering the white room but then there was 4 rooms left and lud didn’t have time for all of them then they agreed whoever comes to next room wins(lud let him catch up and then they started back together) Great stream over all if u wanna find the full stream it’s on luds vod channel (LUDWIG VODS)

Fun fact: Easiest way to solve the missing face dice puzzle is to look at the opposite wall, then subtract from 7, because on all dice, the two opposing faces add up to 1+ the highest face ie: on a 6 sided die, the one is opposite the six, because 1+6=7, on a 20 sided die, the 5 is opposite the the 16, because 5+16=21

Funny how competition and adding an extra step to a seemingly simple puzzle can make seeing the solution tougher. Like, upon seeing the blue numbers and the keypad from home it was clear that's its algebra with a jumbled keypad to throw players thoughts. Tho, add time pressure of competition and i can imagine it being easy to over think what you got wrong. (Simply X=4 X+2=6 Y=3 X+Y=7, Put in with regards to the number positioning on the floor)
