I think after 3 years, it was simply time for a change. Had we met him with short hair, we would never have known what he looked like with longer, curlier hair. He might decide to shave off his beard one day too and have just a mustache. I say change it up somtimes.👌
He looks clean and handsome coming from a woman who still likes a clean-cut man. Some of those men come to you who have not washed their hair in years! How can any clean woman allow that on their sheets
he wanted the cut, his choice. he was visibly pleased with his results. the barber has skills without a doubt. I loved that he explained how he achieved the look....thank you for a great video
You did a fantastic job. Don't listen to everyone here projecting or complaining that they can't fetishize him for his curls anymore. If that's what he wanted, you did your job excellently
I think he looks great with his new cut and trim! You did a very good job. I prefer the clean cut look over the wild man look. He is a handsome man without all that messy hair!
Such beautiful curls. I wish they could have found a happy medium. You would never know he had curls like that from the finished cut. Color looked totally different too. Nice job on the cut. 👍🏻
si lo tenia lindo .. pero ese tipo de pelo trae multiples inconvenientes para peinarlo y mantenerlo cueta mucho dinero . ponele que quiere ir a la playa . es un lio la arena el agua salada , te lo dejan cual estropajo...
@@carolinalatour5652 it doesn't cost a lot of money to maintain curls, it's just a sales scam, how do you think people looked after their curly hair before all these overpriced products ?
I absolutely loved how he looked before. Such wonderful curls. You did a great job, it's definitely easier to have hair thie length it is now, but he's just so ordinary looking now. I really hope he let's it grow out again.
As if his curly hair was the only thing keeping him from being "ordinary". How shallow. If you truly believe that only his curls distinguished him from being "ordinary" you are overlooking the other unique and extraordinary aspects of his looks.
WONDERFUL!!!! You care, plus you take pride in your work - THANK YOU! Looked like a wild cave dweller, walked out a handsome human 🤗! Wish he had gone with a shorter beard.
@@silverforest4682 I have very long ( i can sit on it ) hair , I brush it out twice a day, a 5 minute job. His new boring haircut will need a visit to a hairdresser every 3 weeks to keep those rediculous straight edges in his "style" 🤑
What an amazing makeover! He had so much hair you couldn’t appreciate his good looks. I wish he had chosen to take down his facial hair more, too. He’s so nice looking, but one’s eyes go straight to the bush that’s still on his face.
He want from a man with some individuality to some boring guy with a dodgy haircut, all those straight angles and edges look disgusting. He now looks like most men , BORING !
I loved the length he had when you started scissor cutting, was a nice clean shape but left a lot of those amazing curls. I’m sure it was something important he cut it for but I hope he gets the chance to go longer again soon. Enjoy that hair while you’re still got it!
Right on, man, that cut looked good, he seemed very pleased with it and that's all that really matters. I gave ya the "Like" because you're out here tryin' to help folks learn the craft and also because your customer was happy. Personally, I was diggin' how his hair looked in the beginning but that's because I'm a longhair hahahaaa! Great job man, keep on keepin' on.
Wooooaaaahhh….. now he went in with curly cuteness, came out with the got damn okaaaayyyyyy…. He wears both styles very well!!!! Awesome job with the cut
OMG....What a transformation! Love the result. He looks amazing. Could not see him under all that hair before. He is handsome. I would have liked to have seen him clean shaven. Great job cutting his hair!!
You did an amazing job on his haircut! I love his curly hair too. I would love to have seen his curls with product and styled. It would have looks awesome!
I LOOOOVVEEE HIS hair...always wish mine was like that! Great job with the cut....BUT.....for me the before was way better. He has no curls now and looks completely different.
His hair was sooo beautiful. You did a really great cut but I think I would have persuaded him to have it undercut and kept a central area longer to leave loose when he wanted to be relaxed. Maybe he grew it while studying and now needs to look super straight to get a job! He is a gorgeous guy, with incredibly thick hair, bet it grows again really soon...
Great work Very very professional quick better look for this man! It makes him look more mature and more handsome and more believable as a responsible person ! He looked to playful and not to be taken serious! Very nice work, I truly enjoyed the transformation!
For those who say that long hair looked better on him: I also have curly hair and I love it but I have had many days where I thought "I wish I could wash my hair, comb it and that's it!" But no, the special shampoo, the conditioner, the antifrizz, divide it into sections, comb it, twist it, dry it... aaaahhhh It's tiring. In 2020 a bad stylist burned my hair to the roots and I had to cut it all off, I don't like how I look with short hair but, WOW! It was a delight, literally, shampoo, styling cream or jojoba oil, accommodate it with my hands and ready to go! I totally understand this guy. But yes, the cut was not suitable for his hair type, although I don't know exactly what type of cut he asked the stylist for. 🤷🏻♀️
@veganvixenhelen Have to say I completely agree with you. Every hair style on this channel looks the same and reminds me of a hairdressing shop that used to be close to where I live. ; and all the older ladies left with the same style. The fringe at the front is just awful and looks like a cut your mother would have given you with a pudding basin on your head.
8:54 “and we’re gonna free hand trim the top of his hair” I got flash backs of bald spots I’ve left myself with in the past when the guard fell off my clipper 💀
I’m fairly new to cutting hair and I’ve never seen anyone else taper the back of the head using the process that you did. Usually I’d see that it’s recommended to start from the bottom and do guidelines up and the blend then but you seem to have done it from top to bottom and that seems way harder to me lol. Can’t wait to be as talented as some of you guys that I see on here 🥶
I love the look of the first stage cut. Just down the sheer healthy curls! He looks very handsome with the new look. Well done! As that hair grows back he is going to have a lot of stages of killer looks❣
Wow what a great transformation. This gentleman looked good with the long hair which was naturally curly and bouncy. I would recommend to the next long hair client to maybe donate the hair to Locks of Love they make wigs for cancer patients. The hair has to be clean and 12 inches long and in a braid.
Oh Lord! You took an amazing, glorious, rare head of naturally curly hair and left him looking like any other guy. You’d have done better to advise the guy to simply ditch the unkempt beard. At least then you’d have left the guy looking like a model!
Masterful styling!!! He did have gorgeous curls, but personally I prefer the shorter style. Ultimately, what matters is want he wants and likes! 😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Your a very talented barber, I personally like his hair before the cut . I could see me stopping him and saying, Omg I love your hair what great curls . Just my opinion
I enjoyed watching this. He have really nice hair long or short. The cut gave him a mature manly look, the curly hair made him look young like; if that makes Nice job.
I'm an old guy whose hair left long ago. This is NOTHING like the cuts we had. To my eye it's strange at first. But I tell ya, its short, it's neat, it's clean and frankly it's pretty funky! LOL! I appreciate the skill involved, so hats off for that. It looks great. My buddies would have lost their minds though!
Would you consider asking your clients to donate their hair the next time you get one with longer hair wanting it short? His lovely curls could've helped someone (cancer patients, etc.)
