Yeah it’s kind of an interesting comparison. I think it all comes back to twitch chatters thinking they’re funny. Like I kinda get the sexist comments, not saying I support it or think it’s right or that any of them are funny, just saying a lot of twitch is horny teenagers and they somehow make the correlation sexist=funny because girl streamer. The homophobia is what I don’t get. My guess is it’s just a product of their environment, and it sucks that environments like that are still so prevalent with so many people thinking homophobic humor is somehow funny. And its not even humor, it’s mostly just calling people gay for no apparent reason. Idk I love twitch, but sometimes I really don’t get it lol.

Yep as a gay person QT's chat has always been way more bearable for me and I think it's because I don't see stuff like that very often there so it's a better environment for me. Just the age demographic is higher, like it's a very tightknit community, idk I just like being in her chat more then luds usually (it's been getting better recently but still)
