I've always wondered how weird it must be for streamers. Like imagine if you have a friend that you love and want to spend time with but your content together sucks. And the reverse of course having a douchebag you hate but y'all make magic together.

@@barodrinksbeer7484 As someone with autism, yeah pretty much. Like being in gaming and also autistic is just asking for all of that. Got a lot of shit in school despite not even being open about that (I'm very good at masking my symptoms, and could even be social and most people couldn't tell until I told them), weirdly enough the same thing happened with my gayness. Just not a good mix of things to be in the environment I grew up in FeelsBadMan

@@ShengFink (okay this is uber long and I'm sorry about that, I just take a while to get my point across is all) Yeah, I guess I was never really specifically that peeved when people would call me dumb, but it was a little more intense in my school. Like a lot of me getting called the r-word and gay in the actual derogatory way (Sorry for the weird censoring I just don't choose to say the r-word anymore personally for my own reasons but yk whatever it's the internet). But yeah I learned when I went into highschool that a lot of people were just being awful to me and I was too optimistic (and distracted by stuff at home) to see it as anything more then playful banter. Like for example people spread rumors when we all went to a big camp in 6th grade that I would do bad sexual things to the other guys if they slept under my bunk bc it was boys and girls seperated into smaller cabins. I never knew about any of that at all through the years until someone actually told me in high school. That's just one time, but it kind of happened way too often. Had a lot of people apologize to me and I didn't really know why until later. I also had a lot of people who didn't treat me too great in my home life, so I kind of just came to expect it or brushed it off as a joke unless it was actually aggressive towards me, which some of it was. You're probably right though, I was also super closed off and artificial at the time too because that was sort of a defense mechanism for me, so maybe I could have confronted them about it harder if I wasn't so anxious about doing it yk?

But it is kinda scary, I think I'll have nightmares with them
