@@fatfrankkm7608 No there three team members per tire. Tyre gunner Tyre off Tyre on The „Tyre gunner“ remove the wheel nut. The „Tyre off“ removes the old Tyre. The „Tyre on“ puts a new fresh tire on. The „Tyre gunner“ fits the nut.
ah funnily redbulls fastest stop is faster than guido, dont say oh guido has more nuts and has to do it alone because he is litterally ment to be so insannely fast that it doesnt matter
6.62 is a really good score going solo. Naturally another crew member is supposed to hand the tire over and help put it on, but he handled that thing himself. So he took up about 3 seconds per person, very efficient
Closer to 2 per person. Red Bull has three people on each tire - one removes the old and sets it aside, one handles the wheel gun, and one sets the new tire in place. This guy might qualify for a real crew.
it's way different, these are low powered drills. The real ones are way more powerful and switch directions automatically. The hardest part of this challenge is keeping the bolt in the drill. In f1 it would stay in
@@JoshuaWarm Considering the average pit stop is 2.5 seconds, with the fastest ever being 1.80 seconds, tire change is the longest and most laborious task, refueling being the most dangerous, so actually the tires take longer than everything else. Go read a book before you start arguing about stuff you know nothing about
You literally just copied the top three comments into your own comment But you clearly know nothing about any of what u just said dude Why do people pretend to be experts there’s no reason to?!?
Putting it in Indycar perspective, 6.62 is about the workload he did for the race league as only 6 mechanics can be over the wall, meaning only 1 mechanic on a tire. The average pit stop in Indycar is about 7-8 seconds, so this is super impressive
Its pretty impressive considering he did it alone Edit: I am not responsible for the war happening down there. But don't stop cause sticks and stone may not break your bones, but damn this is entertaining. Edit 2: Smiles in Baron Zemo
Well, that's quite fast. Considering the fact there's one to take the old tire off, one to put it away, one to hand the new tire to the guy that took it off (i think) to put it on and the first guy to fasten it.
Yeah, the real deal is shockingly fast. This is turtle speed compared to real F1 stops. Redbull used to do 3 pit stops in the time this guy changed 1 wheel. Helps when you have a guy to pull the tire, a guy to put on the next tire, and all you are doing is hitting the lug nut. Then 2021 came around and well now they can still do 2 in the same time as this guy.
@@jamesperry8395I’m not undervaluing this guys job but believe me there’s no way in any imaginable scenarios his first try or even 10th. You can see it in the precision of his moves the only time he could improve his time is by installing the tires lock without fidgeting and probably the speed of placing the gun on it
The thing with Watson is the goal posts will always be moved. He could give the Browns a perfect season, win the Superbowl and join the ranks of the 72 dolphins but because he isn't liked by most people, it won't be good enough.
A front wheel weighs an approximate of 15kg (liftable with one hand by an adult male), and though this scenario isn't a real race, used wheels should be slightly lighter.
The hardest thing with these pit stop challenges is keeping the wheel nut from flying off when you remove it because the "real" pit stop sockets have very strong magnets whereas these dont.
I did it 5. Fastest I saw was 4.7. The MC said the fasted was around 6 in the west coast and 7 in the east coast. Apparently here in the south we had the fastest. Out strategies are different than this guy
Bro i just did this today in Perris Calif, got 5.5 secs going to Hemet tomorrow to try to beat that lol , it’s actually pretty fun once you get the hang of it , & I’m fairly lightweight 🤷🏽♂️
I mean, considering that this is normally done by 3 people, it would have been a pit stop of about 2.2 seconds, with 1.8 seconds being the currently fastest pit stop in F1 - he did real good
The problem is, he started with the impact in his right hand. Start with the impact in your left hand, while holding the tire with your right hand, move the tire with your right hand at the same time dropping the impact and grabbing the tire with your left hand.
I tried to do this at the Vegas launch party, it’s really hard…..it took me over 2 mins and my brother was helping me LOL I’ll stick with cheering them on ❤
