You will need to teach him how to slip the clutch off the start and later when he gets better teach him that he can do it going out of turns and through ruts when he improves more but definitely teach him how to slip the couch off the start to keep him from bogging and sit as far forward as possible on starts if he doesn't have a holeshot device congrats tho they have both improved a lot since the first video I saw

That looks like a really fun little track especially for the mini classes. When I was growing up racing in the winter time they were always super gnarly since the guys who organized the races were current A class riders. If you weren't on a big bike it wasn't really possible to do the jumps, you'd have to roll everything except maybe Supermini or faster 85 12-15 guys. I'm not complaining though, someone had to do it and they were the only ones willing to step up and make it happen. At least we had SOMEwhere to race in the winter time! Anyways, great video!
