That was a reinvention. His hair looks revitalized! I would give up my long hair for this look. It looks modern, has that edge to it, and doesn't look like it was fussed on for hours. :) This is in my top 5 of my favorite transforms!

Funny exchange at the start, and Dan being polite yet direct at the same time. Guy wants it "even more curly than now", Dan asks have you got curly hair?, dude says "It's wavy at the moment" then Dan "Umm ... I've never tried curling straight hair before". Yeah sorry bud it not curly or wavy lol.

Dan did a great job in giving the client the look he wanted, I do wish he had chosen a shorter style. The client's hair when he came in looked unwashed and stringy which is not a good look for anyone, male or female. I hope Dan encouraged him to wash his hair more often. Overall it is a huge improvement for the client and he was very happy which is the goal and Dan achieved it well.

Really brilliant how you found a way to give him what he wanted. I couldn’t figure how you could cut the back to blend in, but using the razor to actually cut it was perfect for getting non perfect layers. The whole thing just transformed him.
