This always happens at barbers you go there for a certain look and the barber does his own style. The dude was def low key pissed for losing that much off the top. If he wanted that hairstylr he would've said just give me a fade and trim the top lol Dudes hair texture was perfect for that style he wanted, all he needed was a wash and blow dry forward, and some Pomade after the sides were faded. The dudes hair was already forward and down but after the cut his hair went up like a spike lol.
That's definetly not close enough to photo. I understand his texture is different but it's not like a 4C asking for that cut lol. You could've left length on top. He doesn't look satisfied
Hey man, was wondering if you could show more Asian clients. Most ppl I cut are asian and sometimes I have trouble with their hair. Love the videos and tutorials!
This type texture on the sides is insanely hard to cut... I’m year and a half barbering in Ireland and this took so long to get good. Lighting is very deceiving with this one... dope cut 💈💈
I know what you mean. I've just passed level 2 barbering. I have a few regulars where the hair is straight and grows straight out at the sides. Blending is a nightmare.
Hey Chris i am cutting my own hair sometimes and watch your every video, i already knew how to cut hair novice level but every time i see your video it has new little detailed tips i usually end up using something in the future. Love from Norway!
Seems like a straightforward thing-seeing a reference pic and giving the client what they want. I try so hard to do just that when it comes to doing my man’s hair but I still dont achieve what I originally imagine for him and end up having his hair dictate the cut instead of the proper barber-to-canvas dynamic of me understanding his head and adapting accordingly to give him the cut desired I’m definitely need to get my education and hours in barber school. This COVID situation still got me reluctant to get the ball rolling on that 😫
Got my notifications on! U gotta drop sime more episodes of tutorials with most and least views that was dun to watch bro, this one gonna be heat too 🔥💯
Brilliant. This type of hair does make me feel anxious when it comes to skin fades . Thanks for this. Any more videos on this type of hair please let me know
Yes definitely the back always looks darker and I think it’s somewhat a little more difficult to do than the sides but not impossible! Awesome haircut/video 🔥
I needa find a barber like you in my area you really go to the next level with your cuts. I been cutting my own hair since the quarantine and it definitely takes practice.
I hear ya when it comes to fading the back versus the sides. My sides are a little weaker compared to the back where its more dense so anytime I get a mid-high skin fade it always looks like they cut my sides way shorter than the back. Wish they would use a better blending method so it looks more even like how you do.
Hey Chris fire video man💪🔥 Had an idea for a series on different hair types 1A - 4C talking about tips on cutting for barbers and also for managing and product recommendations for non-barbers like myself. Maybe when you're done with these series you're doing currently. Keep the grind going my man🙏🙏
Amazing cut! Definitely not the easiest hair texture to work with either. Thank you for doing a tutorial! Fire cut always, oh and I know what you are talking about.
Good move on not doing the front line up! Also Chris understands ramus length on the jawline. This guy is a gem. Been waiting for a guy like this for over 20yrs
fear God The lord is my shepherd I shall not want, He maketh me lay in the green pastures he leadeth me besides the still waters, he restoreth my soul, he leadeth me on the path of righteousness for his name sake, Ye thou I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me and thy rod and thy staff comfort me, thou preparest a table before me in the presence enemies, thou anointest my head with oil my cup runneth over, surely goodness and mercy shall follow me the rest of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the lord forever. On this channel, this may be a much repeated question...but I've got to ask: What anatomical landmarks do you use to complete a lineup (on shorter and longer hair)?
Straight 🔥🔥🔥 💪🏽, I know what u mean about the back. Not a professional but sometimes when I’m done with a cut. Then i noticed the back being off a bit. Maybe the lighting in other rooms I guess.
Haircuts from social media pages can be difficult because the angle is great for the image yet some context can be missing, leaving you confused as to how they got it done.
I realize barbers always talk about the importance of detailing a fade. But in a later video could you show the difference in the cut when it’s detailed and when it isn’t?
Should’ve left a little more weight on the sides using forward cross graduation on the side then clipper over comb to refine. Other than that the cut came out dope brodie 🤘🏼
gravity _boss21 no, but Chris explained why and acknowledged it wasn’t the same exactly. The final look was A MILLION times better than the pic. The client can also make his hair look like that if he wants to.
@@elijahcastaneda3550 fax... they're all just too blinded by fandom that they cant see. His hair looked good for his head shape before the cut and after looked like he went to Supercuts. Feel bad for that dude cus it probably took him a while to grow out his hair and I'm sure hed never come back
