25:15 I think what they are talking about is that Goku is known to break through absurd limits by never giving up. Black doesn’t think like this and would rather get stronger the easier way. I think this is to put down any idea that Black would reach Reverse Flash’s level by improving during battle like Goku because while Black has Goku’s sayian biology he doesn’t have Goku’s tenacity. Another example of Black getting stronger the easier way is the fact that Black relies on a Sayian’s Zenkai Boost. A Zenkai Boost is an ability Sayains have that increases their power every time they take a hit and dramatically increases their strength if they recover from near death. While this ability is very handy for Goku and Vegeta to fall back on, they are not overly reliant on it like Black. Black would literally let himself get the sh*t beaten out of him to get stronger. Vegeta did do this before but that was only because he needed to get stronger fast in order to fight Frieza and there was very little time. Both him and Goku only use the Zenkai Boost as a last resort while Black uses it a lot. Because he relies on this, he doesn’t have much experience on pin pointing an opponent’s weakness or memorizing an opponent’s attack pattern like Goku and Vegeta can do.
also, black doesn't understand his own powers. when he discovered how to cut through time, he actually CELEBRATED being stronger than even he could comprehend. which is fine until you need that knowledge, meaning that the master of paradox science was way more qualified to figure out how to put an end to this.
@@danielwilson8604 vegeta said it himself that Zamasu only has the body of Goku. This prevented Zamasu from unlocking all of Goku’s potential. This has actually happened before in Dragon Ball Z. Captain Ginyu swap bodies with Goku but couldn’t get all of Goku’s power.

But I would define an anime character as a character that originates from manga/anime (which I guess would include Strider Hiryu, though his manga has never been animated). Within the multiver, yes. But he can't kill the gods that live in the god realm such as darkseid, highfather, zeus, orion etc. Because they are immortal with the power to straight up kill DC speedsters. Highfather and zeus literally stop flash from moving at all

Anime a lot of the time doesn’t focus on the power level. It focuses on the unique powers they gave the characters. But when you do get Anime’s that focus on the power levels. You get stuff like One Punch Man.
OPM tends to satirize anime and manga that focus too much on power levels. Even in the manga, the monster war could be compared to any other war arc and it would fit the mold pretty well.

Which is slow because zamasu is literally goku black himself zamasu is in his body thats why when they fuse its called fused zamasu because its still zamasu no matter what so if they wanted too they couldve absolutely brung zamasu in or have them fuse.

You are correct, when it comes to anime vs. Western media characters screw attacks death battle seems to almost always favor the Western media characters over the anime ones.
