I spent this day in tears, needing this very message without yet knowing it. When I was ready, Heavenly Father put it right into my feed. And I am as grateful as a found sheep
this one hit home very strongly with me...... I KNOW Jesus is the Christ, I KNOW He is my Savior. I KNOW His love is infinite, eternal. I am grateful to carry this knowledge with me through everything I have lived/survived through.
When I’m lost or in a dark place I listen to this talk it’s so powerful. I have always loved his talks, idk what it is about him but even when I wasn’t into the church my husband at the time was is a life long member he never pushed me to join but I went to watch conference at his mothers just to go spend time with family and he did a talk and I was hooked. The rest is history but I still have times I stray but come back
I am a member of 43 years. I am strong in the church. But, I still stray!!! Everyone has their own issues. You are not alone!! You come back and that is what is important!! :)
I do not know why this was posted only now, but I do know it had God's hand in putting it up now! I listened to it and it was exactly what I needed to hear right now! I got something very different out of it now than the first time around even only a few weeks later. It directly applies to my life right now! ❤️❤️❤️
Amen. What a great smile his eyes is full of joy , he is right , reminds me of my seminary teacher. My seminary teacher back in the 80s , realized i didn't need more scriptures i needed to learn to love myself , She is Christ like in that season in my life, she was more desirable above all others a tree of life another testament of Jesus Christ. A wonderful talk a savor the salt of the earth , more desirable than any other Powerful reminds me of Jesus Christ walking on water to be with his own and be a Savior a Shepard a special witness another testament of Jesus Christ calming the storm in my season. Imagine coming to America when more died than survived. Imagine living here during the American Revolution or Civil War when war raged right through your backyard, killing and destroying all around. Imagine living during WWI and WWII when all thought the world was coming to an end. Perspective is a wonderful thing in 2020.
I think this really applies to myself and possibly many others at this moment with the recent fires here in California. I learn something new everytime I listen
This is amazing!!!! There is so much hope and special nuggets of pure truth in this, wow. I listened to it twice in a row, this is the message we need everyone to understand, you are never too far gone, too far away, or too lost, or confused that the Savior will not help you, lift you, or guide you back to Him. I love Elder Uchtdorf!!
This we do to be redeemed through grace, 'lest we boast of ourselves '. I desire to have Faith to continue, once I am rescued and back in the flock.. 😅

I love that talk! I understand it a little more cuz i was one of those people he was talking about being hopwless. I didnt do enything serios, i just did what you would call thinking to much. But ya such a nice talk i am glad i listend.
I love this talk so much. No matter how far I have fallen, this talk gives me the hope I need, to feel worthy of the grace that so fully He proffers me. A much needed reminder that I am loved NO MATTER WHA, is often the boost that I need to get to where I know I need to be. .... of course... When I start trying to better my life, that's when the most Temptation and distraction ends up being thrown right in my path. Now that I can notice it for what it is, it makes the process so much easier. I've BEEN to rock bottom. It FREAKING SUCKS. I've BEEN there. I AM there. I'm working my way through the process of becoming who I know I truly am, and forgot somewhere along the way. I am a beloved Daughter of the King of Heaven! I love the love, and encouragement, and peace I feel when I listen to these talks. If anyone else ever feels like they are just so far off the straight and narrow, and the iron rod is but a match stick in the distance, they are welcome to come to my playlist called "Best Talks EVER. Listen." Or "When You Need Hope " (I title them for myself to remember importance or concept. )
Hey , how’s that life been working out for you so far? As of lately not so well. I am loved , I am welcomed , thank you … time for hard decisions and hopefully get back to being a worthy priesthood holder. I really miss wearing a white shirt and tie .
Felt that. I’ve never been more lonely than when those claiming to be God’s people abused and cast me out. Yet, after learning from a lot of suffering, I don’t feel so awfully lonely anymore. Because Jesus Christ truly, truly is the Good Shepherd.
Hi Nathan! Good name. Good question too. I believe that if the "sheep," are the ones who are following the Good Shepherd they won't reject other sheep to be a part of the flock who are trying to follow him too. Because we are human we choose from time to time not to follow the Good Shepherd, thankfully we can repent and choose to be reconciled with Christ. Church is a ranch/hospital for us "struggling sheep," who oftentimes want to be a part of the fold, but who aren't as diligent at times as we should be. God bless you brother!
